could we finally say that lebron is clutch in the 4th?

in the regular season i was like lebron cant take the last shot because a majority of the time he would choke and miss, but lately in these playoffs he has been the go to guy and I can actually say give the ball to lebron with the game on the line. I thought i would never say this but he is actually clutch in the fourth quarter, if he and the heat keep playing like this they will win the championship

He has been great in 4th quarters. As someone that has been critical of his decision making in 4th quarters in past playoffs, I can't hate on what he did last night and in game 2 of this series.

The criticism he gets is for not being able to make game winners...

well yes and no.

james was looking at wade to help him the whole time...wade made the 4point play and layup...

lebron has the ability to win games by himself but always wants his teammates to help...THATS what cost him rings in cleveland.

i guess he doesnt want to feel "alone" or whatever when he wins..he wants it to be a team effort. even when the trophy was handed he was in the back of the crowd.

.Wade look like something was bothering him... i can see them splitting up after a year or 2..
im sure he doesnt want to be the next scottie pippen...even scottie is upset..dissing jordan in the news today.

Is he good in the 4th quarter? Yes

Would I give the ball to him for last shot? No

Kobe is still the most clutch player when it comes to buzzer beaters. Either him or Derek Fisher.

That's a collection of his made Game winner. Fact of the matter is Kobe only hits 25% of his game winning attempts, while Melo shots around 50%. You simply suffer from a selective memory, like many of us do.

Who I'd give the ball to for the game winner (among the Jordan/Kobe/Lebron argument that people suddenly love talking about): Jordan>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>Kobe>>>>Lebron.

Yea, he can score points in the 4th quarter. But I still wouldn't give him the last shot.

What about the last game against chicago when they were down the whole game and went on an 18-3 run to close out the fourth quarter and close out the series. LeBron hit a couple of clutch threes to give the heat the lead at the end.

Dwyane Wade made the big play. He had a 4 point play. LeBron got them close but Wade was the one that actually changed the momentum of that game

I know Wade made the 4 point play but LeBron also hit two threes in a row during that same stretch.

LeBron was almost a non factor in the final 6 minutes of todays game (game 2). Sure he had that good pass to Chalmers to even it up with 24s left, but apart from that he couldnt score or defend. The Mavericks completely shut him down. Not saying he isnt clutch, but he didnt do much to further that notion today. But wow, what a great game it was!

It was Bron-Bron's second three-pointer that tied the game, though, and then his jump-shot with twenty-nine seconds left to take the lead. Without his three, and then three before Wade's four-point play, and then his two-point shot, the Heat wouldn't have gone up. I'm not saying they couldn't have gone up in another way, but they wouldn't have without Bron-Bron's clutch shooting. It's that simple.

Do you agree that Bron-Bron's plays were necessary, and clutch, to win it? That's all I'm asking.

sure, wade's play was also necessary. the most important shot of that game was wade's though. because when that went in you knew miami was winning.
