EA not making Nascar 2010 game?

i have searched a bit on google to see when nascar 2010 comes out and all i find are different posts saying that EA is not making a nascar game this year.

Too bad Sierra doesn't exist anymore... Nascar 2003 was one of the most fun games I've ever played(especially online).

all i wanted was a decent NASCAR game for the Wii, and instead they gave us NASCAR Kart Racing. Oh btw, they also pulled that game from the shelves. :lol:

So, it doesn't surprise me to see that there aren't any other ones coming out.

nascar kart racing for the best console , the wii will be the last nascar gaME EVER!

just because EA noot making a 2010 game and dont have the rights anymore doesnt mean no more Nascar games. they could pick the rights up again or another company could pick them up and release a new game. what i would love to see is a developer actually take the Nascar 2003 racing season engine and make a new game around that, while fine-tuning that angine making it even better and releasing it for both consoles and PC.
