NHL 08 vs. 2k8

I have no idea wich game to look most forward too so I would be nice to get a discussion up and running.

Looking back on NHL07 and 2k7 wich were the BETTER game?

To me one very important thing is how balanced the players attributes are. Havent played a NHL game in a few years but a time ago young rookies and more could after ONE season get lots of 99 boost in speed, shot power, endurance etc. making them like SUPERMAN on a pair of skates, scoring more goals than any others. And players that had worse attributes that are grinders so to say have been useless to have on the ice because they never scored. How have it been in the NHL 07 and 2k7 ???

And in the dynasty/careermode have been bad(note I havent played the later NHL games) with OVERPRICED players asking for more money than the other players in the team combined, And stupid trades were you could trade a first, second, third draftpick for 3 superstar players that IRL would never happen. wich game has the most realistic season/dynasty/career-mode ?

I want the gameplay to be realistic and tough, but not too tough getting asskicked by Superhuman AI scoring on every shot, the defense must be tough. And also good goalies.

Hoping for great answers so I can decide wich game to get later on ^^

NHL 07 was the sickest hockey game I have played since NHL 93 and 94! The Skill stick was amazing! It had to be the single most amazing thing put into a hockey game for years! I know 07 didn't have tons of game types but just the season and world hockey championships alone were enough to make it the best hockey game out there. Now, they have fine tuned the stick to be even better and the left stick (used for movement) is taking after it and will be UBER responsive making the motions more realistic and just making it so you feel more in control of your players. Not to mention the fact that the graphics are out of this world! NHL 08 will be the game to get especially since 2K7 felt like 2k4 (in other words no innovation just a game that had a bit better graphics but same ol' decent gameplay). Get NHL 08 since it has all the game modes and the skill stick alone is worth the price of admission!
