C- Chris Iannetta, instead of spending an early pick getting Brian McCann or Geovany Soto you can pick up Iannetta. He batted .264 last year with 18 HRs and 65 RBIs in just 333 ABs, and he posted the second best OPS of catchers in the NL. With the starting job all his and only being 25 look for him to approve on last season in all stats.

My prediction- .272/ 27/ 96

C- Kelly Shoppach, I wouldn't be entirely comfterable having Shoppach as my starter but if you really need a starting catcher in the late rounds you really can't go wrong. Last year he broke out hitting .261 with 21 HRs (in only 352 ABs) and 55 RBIs. He does however strikeout a lot, he wiffed 133 times last year. The question is will he get the chance to do it again. With Victor Martinez coming back Shoppach will be regulated to backup duty but expect to see Vic have a fair share of time at 1b in order to give Shoppach his ABs.

My prediction-
.256/ 17/ 56

1b- Adrian Gonzalez
- Adrian had a huge year last year, batting .279 36 HRs 119 RBIs. His power numbers have been increasing for the past three seasons but his average has been lowering. I wouldn't expect a season like last years but he can still get you a .270 30 HRs 100 RBIs easy which is pretty darn good.

My prediction- .273/ 32/ 108

2b-Kelly Johnson- Johnson batted a solid .287 with 12 HRs 69 RBIs. He is certainly not and elite second basemen but he is good. He is only 27 so an increase in HRs is likely. Last year when Chipper went downt they batted him in the 3 three hole so you can expect to see him hit their ocassionally.

My prediction- .290/ 16/ 76

3b- Edwin Encarnacion- Last year Encarnacion finally broke out in power. He belted 26 HRs and is only 26 so expect him to exceed that number this year. Last year however, he had a dip in his RBIs, 68, and average, .251. Expect all those three stats to be higher than last year.

My prediction- .265/ 28/ 84

SS- Jhonny Peralta- Jhonny last year had career highs in RBIs, 89, and runs scored, 104. He hit for a higher average than he has in the past four years and hit 23 HRs, a terrific mark for a SS. Expect a rise in the HRs and RBIs as he will be batting 5th in the lineup. Remember Peralta has the power to match Grady Sizemore.

My prediction- .278/27/84

OF- Shin Shoo Choo- Choo finally had a chance to really show what he can do last year. Choo went from platooning in the Outfield to being the starting RF and batting number three in the lineup. He hit .309 14 HRs and 66 RBIs, Choo has some pop in his bat and I think he can consistently hit for average. I wouldn't expect a .309 BA again but an increase in HRs and RBIs is almost guranteed.

My prediction- .293/ 23/ 82

How could you tell? lol. Those indians i listed really are good picks though. The list isn't really so much sleepers but really solid guys you should consider to pick up in the later rounds, Except Adrian Gonzalez.

The only reason Ricky Nolasco could even be considered a sleeper is because he plays for the Marlins. No one knows who he is except for us Marlins fans and perhaps Cubs fans since they gave him to us for Juan Pierre (giggle). If you look at his numbers last year he was one of the best pitchers in the NL. He had an amazing K/BB ratio, won 15 games, and had a stellar WHIP. The man is good.

Johnny Peralta has the highest slugging % of any SS in the AL. I certainly don't think he is a sleeper since he's been leading the AL SS in HRs for 2 or 3 years now.

nolasko is mostly overlooked not because he is a marlin, but because he had a horrible first half last season. Other marlins, such as hanley ramirez (obviously), dan uggla (.200 average and all), mike jacobs last season, cameron maybin, josh johnson, as well as cody ross and jorge cantu have all been hyped up. Don't use your lack of Marlins media attention here. Nolasko isn't ranked higher because no one knows if he can put it together for a whole season yet.
