It's True The packers were forced to say Farve we are done with the crazy wild bill style interceptions and such you become so accustomed of doing in the past several seasons. In a nice way HIT THE ROAD.

Farve will be remebered more for getting DISSED by greenbay.

Sad really.

i disagree. its brett favre. how is he the bad guy. im a bears fan and i hated the guy cause he used to own us. but seriously the fact that the pack wont let him go if he wants to play isnt fair. they owe him a lot considering what he did for that franchise but people seem to forget that.

Farve has done this for several seasons. Now leaving GreenBay in limbo each off season not knowing what his plans are. So now Green Bay has moved on and want to see what Arron can do.

Green Bay is smart they will take a trade for him if he wants to play. It's called buisness.

I don't think that he has humiliated himself at all, it's a shame that this is what it's come down to and from what we have seen he certainly bears some of the responsibility for what is going on now, but Ted Thompson is a slippery son of a buck so the finger can't be pointed exclusively at Brett. Even if he goes to another team (which will make me a little sick) I will support him because the Packers and Brett Favre have become inseperable concepts in my mind and heart.

What I really want is to see him play this season for the Packers but I am very doubtful that it's going to happen, maybe he can push a team like Baltimore into the playoffs while giving their young stud an oppurtunity to observe a legend up close and personal. The most sickening thing I can think of is him playing for the Vikings or the Bears, though I believe that he could take the Vikings to the Superbowl, they've got everything but a QB. Just imagine him stepping onto Lambeau in a Vikings uniform the night that his number was going to be retired, it sends a shiver up my spine.

Anyway what I meant to say is that your both your posts are asanine, Favre may be remembered for getting dissed by the haters out there who can't acknowledge great players that they may not have liked for some reason or another, but the fact is he is the most beloved player in the history of the Packers franchise and trading, releasing, or benching him would not be business it would be the saddest day in franchise history.

The more that comes out the more I think the Packers look bad.

Example, from the Fox news interview:

Favre told Van Susteren that "I worked my butt off two years ago to try to get them to sign Randy Moss."

Favre added that he offered to give up salary to sign the receiver who ultimately landed with the New England Patriots.

Favre said that Thompson publicly denied that the quarterback had lobbied for Moss.

I forever have a special place in my heart to hate Ted Thompson.

It's BAD BAD BAD either way for both. Farve ane Green Bay will never be the same. Unles Green bay says sorry and brings Farve back . This will go down as an EPIC failure on both sides.

Two years ago, if you were Moss, would you go to Greenbay or to New England? Let's be real, there was no way Moss was going to GreenBay---that was just a tactic ploy from his agent to get New England to give him more money. He wanted a Superbowl---Greenbay wasn't close to it.

Favre looks bad in this case. The packers cant' release him---esp. if he ends up in his own division. It's a BUSINESS, it won't make sense to give someone a good QB. If anyone is at fault, it's Favre and his ego. I used to think Favre was this regular down to earth guy, but now he's shown he's got one of the biggest EGOs in football.

There are already too many Farve threads as it is, let's not add too many more.
