Other current players I kinda follow( look for in the box scores)and respect for there skill level. Brandon Roy( surprised no one mentioned him, dude can play and seems very likable). CP3, D. Howard, Deron Williams, Lebron, Wade, A.I...etc.
Young players I'm interested in seeing what they develop into: K Durant, S. Curry, D. Granger...
Favorite past players: Julius Erving!!, George "Ice-Man" Gervin, Earl The Pearl Monroe. Nate archibald, Roger Brown(Ex IN. Pacer and one of the smoothest/coolest small forwards you ever want to see!), Magic, Pistol Pete Maravich, Connie Hawkins, David Thompson......
A word about Allen Iverson: He's been one of my favorite players ever since he entered the NBA. He's taken some criticism throughout the years and especially lately. Most of the criticism he's brought upon himself and I don't condone or defend his behavior in those situations.
From a basketball standpoint A.I. was as tough, fearless, and determined as they come. He was one of the quickest players I've ever seen end-to end with the ball, he was one of the best at getting to the basket and scoring over anyone (amazing given his size), he carried the 76'ers to the finals against the Lakers...etc. That's why I hate to see him end his career like this and mostly be remembered in a negative light by many. He's one that I wish could have gotten a ring.
