Texas 30, Baltimore 3

That isn't a typo. The Rangers won by 3 touchdowns and 2 field goals in Game 1 in a doubleheader. It's not everyday you see a pitcher "earn" a 27-run save. I don't know what to say about the only highlight for the season other than I just witnessed the biggest smackdown since 1900.

Holy Jesus. Whoever was pitching in the 8th or the 9th just had his ERA go up by like 9.

That is just insane to say the least. The funny thing is the Rangers are already up 3-0 in Game 2.

Good, we got a taste of what Gabbard, Jarrod Saltalamacchi, and Dave Murphy can do.

They are a pretty decent power hitting team... also helps that The Ballpark in Arlington is nice to hitters when they are at home. You can always expect them to score some runs, but not that many!

Absolutely insane. It's too bad that runs don't come with rollover :p.

What would you have done if you were a Baltimore fan sitting there though? Would you have left when they ran away, or waited to witness history as your team was pounded.

Lets all be honest the rangers are possibly the worst team in the mlb. I live in dallas and have been to some games and I used to be a fan but after they made dumb trades and continue to lose I just said screw the rangers. Them scoring 30 runs in one game was just pure luck and the only way that they could change my mind is by scoring 30+ runs in there next game.

They are not a pretty decent power hitting team. Nobody on the team has more than 17 homers. They are and have been near the top of the league in strikeouts, and their OBP is a putiful .320. Yet somehow, Rudy Jaramillo gets a free pass here. It boggles the mind.
