We were impressive up until the playoffs, i mean almost losing towards the bucks without redd or bogut doesnt seem like a good sign :(

Nobody looks at the Magic because most NBA fans/experts/analysts/journalists are LeBron-blinded.

Don't be surprised though if you see Dwight with that huge grin hugging the Larry O'Brien trophy in 5 weeks or so.

I'm not a Magic fan, but nobody can deny they are the hottest team in the NBA and have been for the last 3 months or so. And they handily beat the Cavs last postseason, you will see that happen again, or maybe the Celtics, who knows.

Magic in 5 or 6. Atlanta tonight just showed why they aren't completely ready for the playoffs. Never should you be losing by 40+ points, homecourt or not, in a playoff game. It's rediculous. I think I'm being kind of nice saying they'll win one or two, but that's only because they are a pretty good home team.

Well thats what the Hawks get for completely ignoring to address the center position for the last two seasons. Not only that but the coach is a moron. If he's not then the players have no idea how to put into motion what he's calling for. They have no game plan at all. They go into a game thinking...lets get our offense going off our defense but when that doesn't work (Orlando making big shots and Howard doing his thing), they make zero adjustments. They basically resort to the "Iso Joe", give Joe the ball and stand around and watch him do something awkward.

And damn how horrible is it to watch Horford try to play big boy ball with Dwight. That ain't gonna work. Bibby trying to cover the perimeter...sorry too slow. The switch defense that Atlanta choses to use every game is not going to work this series. Sorry but players like Marvin take too long to get back to the shooter, or leave a shooter when they shouldn't. BTW I hate Marvin Williams as a player. He plays like he's dead drunk.

Unfortunately the Hawks have no answer for Dwight and the 3 pt shooting of the Magic. Can't guard the screen and roll. Plus the Hawks will continue to play every other day while the Magic were fortunate to get like 5 days off. I say Magic win it 4-2 or 4-1

This pretty much sums up the Hawks. They didn't make a single adjustment that entire game. That's not a joke, nor an exaggeration. They really didn't make a single adjustment. No way Woodson should get a contract extension. The Hawks are the epitome of boring NBA basketball. They really DO just give the ball to Joe and hope he does something. And then in the games where Joe doesn't show up (about 25% of the time during the regular season, 50% of the time during the playoffs), like yesterday, they're screwed. Bibby is too old and too slow to play D, Crawford needs to start. You're right about Williams playing like he's dead drunk. He shows flashes of brilliance at times, but he's so worthless 90% of the time that he would be better off on the bench. Put Horford at PF, and Zaza at C. Even though Zaza has the coordination of a 12-year-old, at least he TRIES. Anything would be better than watching Marvin Williams stand around and stare.

Well in the regular season the talk, with ESPN at least and some media where I live (Miami) was already crowning ATL the 3rd best team in the East and appointing them a Top Dog in the division. They need a Center before that can happen because Al Horford is a PF.

No one on the team can handle Howard. The only starter who isn't consistantly making the hawks defense look invisible is Barnes

That is why I started my sentence with the following words "At this rhythm" as in "they're white hot at the present time". It was a - obvioulsy misunderstood - figure of speech. That being said, as much as I love both LA and Phoenix, I don't think anyone will stop Orlando this postseason.

Magic can be beat. They just need to face a good team and then well see how they play
