It was a few stupid fans on both sides who got into fights. I wouldn't take the fighting as any meaning. It's not like it is making the rivalry that much better.

Leaving the fans out, I want the Lakers to win.

But if there were a reason i wanted Lakers to lose, this would be it. Watta bunch of sore losers.

It was a few stupid fans on both sides who got into fights. I wouldn't take the fighting as any meaning. It's not like it is making the rivalry that much better.

And it makes the rivalry so much more bitter. Although I agree that the fight and the rivalry were most likely unrelated, it gives the feeling that there is tension between Lakers and Celtics fans still and that beating them will justify what happened.

I think it was Bill Plasche (SP?) on ESPN, he wrote an article saying how he thought PP faked the injury in Game 1. HE GOT DEATH THREATS. Not only against him but his family too. Celtic fans are just as bad as these guys.

Referring to the bold, that is all talk. Only the act is what counts. I mean I agree we have a lot of jack asses here too. There's no denying that every city has people like this.

That's BS, did you hear what the guy says? Sounds like some gangsters, which there are plenty of, trying to act tough all the time. They probably started some beef and they'd be the only ones dumb enough to do something like this.
