I figured they might lose one, Hawks played with alot of heart. But one thing, what is Horford thinking taunting Paul Pierce pointing at him and yelling when he was on the floor. Horford don't forget you down 2-1 in the Series playing the Number one seed don't go giving Paul Pierce a reason to score 50 in game 4. Also the refs need to be slapped for not giving him a technical.

Also Atlanta, your a bunch of idiots for screwing up the first play-off game you have had in years. What has it been 8 years and the first game played you have a whoel half without working shot clocks? This is proffessional basketball not a pick up game.

Horford and Stevenson seem to forget their place compared to some other players from time to time.

HAHA, great stuff right there. Horford is never scared. Watch the Hawks even the series on Monday.

If they can get another post presence and maybe a PG (if Acie Law isn't the answer), they'll be the best team in the East with Cleveland (only if James is there and the management doesn't completely suck) and Orlando in three years.

*sigh*

Another person claiming victorys. Horford may not be scared, but they saw what happened in game 1 and 2. Why taunt the team that had schooled you in the first 2 games? He was acting like he just won game 3.

If they have another shot clock problem in game 4 they should be fined by the league for not knowing how to run an arena.

Best team in the East? I dunno about that. Maybe in like 2 years when the Garnet and Allen are to old and the Pistons age catches up more.

That's why I said in three years. I think by then they'll have a top 10 player in Josh Smith, a 22-23 ppg scorer in Marvin Williams, a legit post guy in Horford. If they can add another post guy and a point guard, they'll be at that level.

Also the refs need to be slapped for not giving him a technical.

horford outplayed and outclassed pierce the whole game and if boston wasnt such a dirty playing team with cheap fckin refs everytime they play at home then maybe Atlanta players wouldn't have got so riled up.

I was surprised it was so much of a blow out in the second half.

I'm expecting them to win one more in Game 5.

What? Dirty team? Cheap Refs? Wow, talk about excuses. Celtics arent a dirty team.... they play good defense... and using the cheap refs is just stupid. Your hawks shot under 40% in games 1 and 2. How is that the celtics fault?

Where have you been? Teams that play defense are cheap in this board, like the Spurs. Which is why teams like the Suns, Nuggets and Lakers are the bomb yo!

You watch game 2? Celts weren't that good. The Hawks were that bad, though. It was all about the free throws. If they sunk any significant amount in the fourth, they would have been in the game. There was no "schooling."

Our bench(Detroit),could easily replace some of the starters in a few or couple years. That is if they improve their overall game. Maybe it's wishful thinking that they will still be a good team but who knows. Stuckey, Afflalo, Prince, Maxiel, Johnson. Could be dangerous.

The hawks were that bad because the celtics defense is that good. The celtics offence wasnt that good in game 2 i agree, but their defense is what held them in the game.

I don't know about that. What evidence do you have that they think they "are untouchable". Do you have some secret sources? Are you a member of the Celtics Coachign Staff? Are you friends with the players and listen to them outside of the court? I doubt you are any of those so you have no real evidence for this other then your wild imagination. I'm sure they think they are no more untouchable then the Lakers or Spurs.

If the Celtics have to play the Cavs, I truly think the Cavs could have a chance. Paul Pierce would struggle guarding LeBron and if his supporting players can help enough, then they have a chance. The series was 2-1 favoring the Celtics in the regular season, with LeBron not playing in one of the game.

A little thinking ahead, but if they end up playing each other then that's how I'm thinking, although beating the Celtics wouldn't be easy.

3 superstars vs 1 superstar. I think i'll bet my money on the celtics. But lebron can take over a game with a sudden ferocity that you rarely see from a human being. The sad part for cavs fans is that Lebron is the one threat and he will get tired in a 7 game series. i dont think they have the goods to win 4 of 7 but it would def be a good game and i fear what lebron can do when he turns it on.

Cleveland management is just idiotic. It's been 4 years and what do they have around him? Big Z is the only legit starter and he was already there. It's been 4 years and the team has yet to put together anything resembling a good team around him. At this point, I really hope James leaves in two years when his contract is up. This team is just dysfunctional. The only reason it doesn't look that way is b/c four years ago they took a no brainer player at no.1 and suddenly perennial playoff goers. Truth is, They have done nothing right. A monkey would pick James first overall. Him turning the franchise around doesn't suddenly mean the management made shrewd decisions to do it. I hate Cleveland.

Larry Hughes was supposed to be a consistent number 2 man, but that didn't happen. He was pretty good for Washington, but definitely not the guy he was supposed to be.

It's great! I still expect a Celtics win, but it would be awesome to see them get knocked out in the first round! Biggest upset ever if it happens.

Guess the Celtics aren't as tough as everyone thought. Might as well crown the Lakers now. The real finals will be the Western Conference Finals.

No, the Celtics are still bad ass, but the Hawks are just that good. They had a bad record because they're very young and inconsistent, but when the whole team is clicking, they can beat anyone in the league. The Hawks will upset the C's...and it will be sweet.

Acually the Hawks arent that good, the celtics are just playing that bad. The hawks are "that good" but they could only keep the game tied or up by 4-5 the whole game? I agdmit the hawks are going to be great in 2 years. But right now they are just playing above their usual game. Hopfully it cools off and the cels take game 5.

I was reading over at Celtic Nation, and I guess one thing they are discussing is the possibility of KG, Perkins and the Hawks Williams being suspended. Apparently KG was pushing the ref off of him during the scuffle whether or not he knew it was the ref is the question. And Perkins and Williams both stood up from the bench and walked toward the court, which is an automatic suspension, however I have to see the video again because they may have been already standing up before it started.

That would be a huge blow if the Celtic lost KG, as far as getting up from the bench the same thing happened last year I believe in the Suns game.

Well the 2 that stepped off of the bench might, but i dont think KG will be if you watch the video its not really him pushing him off, hes just trying to get past him. If they do suspend him though it would be riddiculous. Anyways make your own calls, but i dont think they will do it. Watch the video in my other thread.

It's hard to tell if he ment to push him or not but they should let him play for Game 5. I want to see if the Hawks can really beat them with each team at full strength and everyone they need involved. Game 5 will be an interesting one. Boston really needs to shut them down and make the Hawks start doubting themselves in order to win this series. I will say this, with the Hawks and Sixers playing like they are the East might finally start getting interesting next year. It may not be the same weak old East, but then again who knows.

Yah, if you watch the video i linked in 2 threads he doesnt acually even push him he more just removes his arms from him. Everyone is acting like garnet pushed the ref to the floor when it really wasnt anything at all. If anyone gets suspended it will be Williams and Perkins because the rule is clear, you cant step ontot he court and they obviously did.

I really hope Hawks take the series and then Pierce and Allen retire leaving KG the same team he had in Minn. Hahahahaha. GO HAWKS.

I think if Boston loses in the first round Rivers is gone for sure. Also it will be a nail in the Heart for Allen, Pierce and KG. Maybe a wake up call.

I think the Pistons and the Celtics will both win their matchups. But the Celtics vs. Cavs maybe a very tricky one if Lebron can have a few 40+ nights.
