I think that EA should come out with a high school basketball videogame. High school basketball is so popular now and people love to watch so you can see that and AAU games on TV featuring some of the top prospects. What you could do is take the Top 50 schools in the nation as the teams in the game. You can do a dynasty mode where if you are a better school you have better players obviously. Or you can create your own team and build it up to compete with the other great teams. You don't need to have every team in the nation, just the top ones. People love this sport and those 50 teams deserve the recognition of being in a videogame. Another feature you can have is be your own player. Like NCAA's Road to Glory. There are so many ways to go with this and it would sell because of how popular the sport has become. Let me know what you think.

First of all, it could never happen because even EA's NCAA basketball was canceled. Second, it would be all conjectural as far as the players go because it's impossible to scout all high school players. I know you said you'd limit it to the top 50, but then you get into issues with compensation for using school logos and images of players. And that's high school. It's a complicated enough issue to deal with for college games. Plus if most people had to choose one basketball game, and they had both professional and college games available to them, would the average person really want a high school game? I would tend to think not. I think more people would readily accept a high school football game before a high school basketball game. Friday Night Lights and all that.

Pretty much this, it would be nice but there would be too many Copyrights and stuff like that that will get in the way.

Can't say that I would really want to play a high school level. I am sure it would interest some people but not enough to spend millions of dollars developing one. The closest you can come is playing the college basketball games where you get to scout high school teams at camps and choose to play as one of the teams.

Agreed, the way HS basketball is, I am not down for having a 6'5 guy be my Center.

Our center was 6-4, and the average height for centers in my high school league was around 6-2. If anyone in the state had a guy 6-6 or taller they were pretty much guaranteed to make it to state playoffs.

you dont have to use the actual players, and im sure every high school would love to have there name in a videogame. and many people would buy it because its going mainstream, more so then football. thats why high school basketball is on espn more

I think an aau game would be better where u could make ur own teams like in madden where you can select your tea style but the game generates player names and coaches.. In my thinking i would say the game would be like an association or season mode where you can pick up players from grades 4-12 of course on different level teams. You would be able to play local tournaments and travel and play in national tournaments. In the beginning you would be a dad who starts out a team for his son like most coaches and pick a grade for your child and skills. Playing the 4th 5th and 6th grades might not seem as fun but 7th and 8th would be good for building up your program in the other grades.............. might sound a lil wack maybe a lot but i think it could be a fun game
