New York Yankees - Just had an instant classic walk off win over the Twins in game 2. They're on top of the wrold right now as they head to Minnesota to try and wrap this ALDS up.

New York Rangers - After a very impressive 4-3 win in regulation over the Washington Capitals, in Washington, it's becoming apparent that this Rangers team is far different than those of recent years. Our offense has gotten a major boost in Marian Gaborik, who is averaging a goal per game.

Philadelphia Eagles - They'll be hosting terrible Tampa this weekend and Donovan McNabb is going to be back on the field. Our schedule for the most part was set up well to accomidate McNabb's injury.

Washington Redskins: Mediocre but I'll be happy if they beat Carolina this sunday.

Baltimore Orioles/Washington Nationals: Mediocre and terrible.

Washington Capitals: A great start. Too bad they couldn't beat the Rangers but the season just started so they'll do well. They are easily the only good team D.C. has right now.

Maryland Terrapins College Football: 1st place in the atlantic division of the ACC but still terrible.

Chicago Bulls-Coming off an awesome season where they had hands-down one of the best playoff series I've seen in a while. Derrick Rose had a breakout year and should get better, but we didn't pick up any more huge aquisitions so far and we lost Ben Gordon. Still, things are looking up.

Chicago Blackhawks-Another team coming off a playoff year. I'm excited about the players we picked up in free agency and our forwards look especially dangerous. 1-2 start, but I don't get worried about standings this early with large schedules like the NHL's.

Chicago White Sox-What a horrible roller coaster year. It boggles my mind how someone like Jose Contreras can be so damn good one day and so bad the next. Our lineup looks solid, though, with aces Burhle and Peavy followed by Gavin Floyd, John Danks, and Freddy Garcia. I'm worried about our bullpen, though, and about who's going to replace Jim Thome. Our hitting needs to step up bigtime. Beckham and Nix were nice surprises, but we need Alexi, Quentin, and Rios to really step up. That and the errors are killing us. I hope Kenny Williams still has some wheeling and dealing to do to get another bat and another glove for the pen, because if that doesn't happen I'm going to be wary about our chances for next season.

Chicago Bears-Off to a 3-1 start and looking better than last year in every phase of the game except running. I'm especially loving the breakout performances from some of the rookies. Afalava has been incredibly impressive since the preseason, and Johnny Knox is having a good year as well. The D-line seems to have got its groove back, hopefully at least one of them will hvae a Pro Bowl year, and Mark Anderson getting back in the picture makes me more comfortable about longevity at the position. I'm also not worried about the secondary. I think Kevin Payne has sort of flown under the radar and I've really liked his open field tackling so far. I'm liking what I'm seeing from Bowman, even if he can't cover elite receivers yet. Good thing we've got an excellent vet at the position in Charles Tillman. Jay Cutler is throwing the ball decently and playing with a lot of intensity. I love the way he ran in for a touchdown last week, great intensity there. The receivers are stepping up as well, I think the biggest question is who do you keep and who do you cut next year? Biggest problem in my eyes is the O-line. Chris Williams and Orlando Pace have been disappointing especially in the run game and I hope that picks up.

Niners: Good so far
Giants: Season's over, but they exceeded expectations. I feel bad since our pitching was WS caliber, and we wasted it.
Sharks: So so. Defense needs work BIG TIME.
Warriors: meh
Lakers: dunno
Cal Bears: LOL

One bad game, dude, and they're facing a team that's absolutely horrible in pass defense this week, can't remember which. If Romo plays badly this week start to worry, but I don't think you have all that much to worry about.

Seahawks- Seneca Wallace blows, no Hasselbeck means no winning.

Mariners- Despite missing the playoffs, they had a much improved season. Their future looks a little brighter.

New York Giants - 4-0. Arguably the best team in the NFL right now. 8)

New York Knicks - Maybe we'll go 41-41 this season. Maybe...

Atlanta Hawks - Solid 4th seed team in the East but not gonna compete with the top 3...very fun to watch too

Atlanta Braves - How they managed to miss the playoffs with that starting pitching is amazing. Made it interesting until the final 7 games.

Atlanta Falcons - Will be tough to win the South this year with the Saints playing the way they are, but it can be done.

Atlanta Thrashers - *falls asleep*

All and all things are good I guess.

Feel sorry for me.

Kansas City Chiefs - Yup.

Kansas City Royals - Yup.

Chicago Bulls - Half-decent.

My secondary teams are doing better, though!

Indianapolis Colts - Frickin' awesome, as always

St. Louis Cardinals - Lost tonight, but Hell...they're better than the Royals.

49ers - Doing great! Would be undefeated if not for a sick pass and catch against Minnesota.

SF Giants - Did better than I thought. Hoped they would get into the playoffs though but they fizzled.

Pens - 4-1 so I'm happy!

Utah Jazz - Haven't started quite yet.

Man, that Timberwolves management is not something to be proud of. How many years with KG and they can't build a playoff team around him? I hope they at least got some good players from the picks they got for him.

I'm just going to name my favorite favorite teams: 1. San Francisco Giants - unsurprisingly choked at the end of the season. I cried for a week, then cursed every single team in the playoffs except for the Phillies and Twins (hate the Rockies now, always hated the Dodgers, Cardinals, Yankees, and Red Sox for being so good). 2. San Francisco 49ers - we're looking alright at 3-1. Big statement game this week to see if all we can beat are divisional rivals, or if we are actually legit. I hate the niners for signing Crabtree so willingly, but hopefully he makes an immediate impact. 3. Cal Bears - *SOB* 4. San Jose Sharks - It's too early in the season to tell how good they are, but since I'm not a hug ehockey fan, I don't really have anything to say anyways, just I hope they win. I'm not even going to mention the San Jose Earthquakes; I know nothing about soccer, but yeah...go Sharks and Earthquakes lol. Oh yeah, and you can all hate on the Raiders but they are the greatest team ever! Raiders just go out, busting heads and mossing kids every day! We don't give a ****! DYNASTY BABY!

Never have, never will. I was a Lakers fan before I lived in Philadelphia(I'm from the west coast, and both my mother and father are huge Lakers fans). When I was a kid, I didn't watch football or baseball, only basketball, so the only team I liked was the Lakers. When I got to Philadelphia I started watching other sports which led to me becoming a Phillies and Eagles fan. One of the greatest feeling was in 2001 when the Lakers won 4 in a row against the Sixers after cocky ass AI thought he was all bad in game 1.

It would have been funnier if a Raider did that, because that's just the kind of team they are. I was shocked. I hope he gets a good punishment this week, but I seriously doubt it. Singletary just doesn't make sense to me anymore.

New Orleans Saints are undefeated right now, and face a huge test against the N.Y. Giants this Sunday.

Chelsea F.C. are at the top of the Premiership as of right now. Next match is at Aston Villa, a very tough team.

LSU Tigers: 5-1 now after that laughable offensive performance against Florida. Defense played fantastic though.

I don't follow hockey or baseball though.

Lakers - Just won a title and are the favorites to win this upcoming season. In Pre-season now. Cowboys - 3-2 going into a bye where I hope they can fix the mental errors. Penalties and Turnovers keeping teams in games or prohibiting them from scoring more than they have. Get a ton of yards with no points to show. Trojans - One loss with out their Starting QB. Rushing is great. Defense is great. QB play is shaky at times. Still a chance for a national title but it's very slim. Seems like one loss won't cut it anymore. Dodgers - Swept the Cards. Awaiting Phillies or Rockies.

  • Steelers (champs) - Slow start with a couple of tough road losses , but they are doing fine. The rest of the schedule looks favorable. They just need to get revenge on Cincy and take at least one from the Ravens in their division and they should be fine. They do have the Browns twice and Oak and KC on the schedule. So I expect to see 6 more wins right there just from those 7 games.
  • Penguins (champs) -Lots of wins already. They have such a well-rounded team .... they can beat teamsany style they want to play.
  • Dallas Mavericks - Still upset about the Devin Harris trade , and disappointed that they didn't pick up Gortat in free agency but Drew Gooden is a solid player to help them out I guess. I'm very curious to see how Marion does in the mix. They should be better this year than last year with him.

I don't support the Pirates much at all. They are MLB's farm system basically which is unfortunate. --- It's a combination of poor management and MLB's infastructure. I just root for players or whatever team I hope to win come playoff time. Hoping for a Yankees vs. Phillies World series right now.
