 I really don't like Kobe, but if he wants emulate Jordan as much as he has tried, he's got to win champioships. If Kobe wants any notariety in all of his accomplishments, he needs to win championships on his own accord. As far as many fans are concerned, the 3 championships he has has won have been forgotten. Everyone has remembered Jordan and all of his championships and I think Kobe needs to have the same impact if one really wants to remember him as a champion. Kobe needs to antagonize players, coaches, and teams to go after him just like when teams went after Jordan and the bulls.

It doesn't really matter who he plays. He can score 50 points on any team. He score 62 in three quarters against Dallas. He has scored 50 points several times aganist the Suns. The opponent doesn't matter.
I'm not saying I havn't been impressed with Kobe's scoring performance of late, but I'd like to see him score 50+ against a team like Detroit or San Antonio (the better defensive teams in the league imo).
Well that isn't possible as the Lakers are not playing San Antonio or Detroit the rest of the season. In fact, the only strong defensive team they play is the Rockets. They play Phoenix twice and the rest of the games are teams below them.

The Mavs scored 100 on them in that loss. It's just one meaningless regular season game, we'll see who's talking when Dirk holds up that trophy.

Why do you care so much that Kobe scores so much against elite teams? It's not like you like Kobe. Why don't you sports fans stop forcing athletes to always prove something. Kobe is doing what he needs to.

And Kobe brining crap Lakers team to playoffs isn't rare? Steve Nash is product of the system. Suns can win without Nash and even without D'Antoni's fast-paced system.
