Hows your favorite hockey team doing?

My Rangers were very inconsistent the first half of the season, but now everything is coming together, and at the right time. I'm feeling really positive with them going into the off season.

I think the Rangers have a real shot at winning the Conference, but I think they're making the playoffs. The Rangers are getting a TON of contribution from their young talents Brandon Dubinsky, Ryan Callahan, Nigel Dawes, Dan Girardi and Fedor Tyutin. The 2 major off season pick ups Scott Gomez and Chris Drury have really stepped it up. I expect Chris Drury to wear the "C" next season. Brendan Shanahan provides a ton of leadership, and Jagr has really started to turn it on the last month.

Henrik Lundqvist is back to "King-like" form and Valiquette has proven he's a very solid backup. The Defense isn't spectacular, but they make due with what they have. And Sean Avery, the man people love to hate, but you want him on your team. Lock him up Slats!! ASAP!!!

My Avs had the injury bug this year and it definitely spread amongst their best players but it seems everyone is getting healthy and getting ready for a playoff push. Theodore has been amazing this second half of the season and he's starting to regain the confidence he once had. It also seems Forsberg may be an on and off again player but that's okay, I'm sure he will be huge during the playoffs.

Anyways, they are sitting in 8th place with a 4 point cushion over the 9th place team but they need to start getting some wins to get a bigger lead.

Best in the league, however I haven't been able to watch them. Detroit just has too many good teams right now and it's hard to watch them all.

Penguins, they are just amazing now. Maple Leafs... well let me just say I don't care about them anymore. Go Raptors!

Pens are doing well and they are an absolute joy to watch. I can't wait until Crosby and Hossa get a chance to play together. I have been pretty impressed with Hossa so far.

Our back end is surely lacking because we haven't learned anything from the Devils all these years and our defensemen are grossly overpaid.

Oh well, we've managed to hang around when the vast majority would agree that we have no business still being in the playoff picture so cross your fingers.

The canes r making their playoff push. Winning 9 of the last 10. They play in streches of great and horrible. Since Brind'amour went down, Eric Staal and Cam Ward are carrying us. The couple of trades they made at the deadline were great. So far Evaes hasn't shown much offense, but Joe Korvo (sp) has helped imrpve the PP.

My Red Wings are first place lazily sipping a coke while waiting for the playoffs to start... yawn... stupid central division games are boring, heres hoping the Avs finish in 8th for an easy 1st round!s0mepuert0rican

The Avs are clinging onto the 8th place in the West right now. Some injury issues but we are alright with Theodore finally emerging as our #1. The acquistions of Foote, Forsberg and Salei really improves our team. And we are coming off a HUGE (and I mean HUGE) 2-0 win over Calgary the other night. But we need to continue to win to hold of 9th place and red-hot Edmonton. Then again...so do Vancouver and Calgary lol.melo_211

had row 15 seats to the game tonight, an awesome 6-3 win. everyone played well tonight, and foppa got 3 assits. plus Luongo got pulled. 7th place right now, i think we got 2 more games at home.

The Blackhawks future look bright, with Seabrook, Keith, Toews, Kane, and Sharpe. Honestly if Havlat wasn't so injury prone, i think Chicago would have made the playoffs. Plus goaltending was very inconsistent this year. but i would watchout for the blackhawks next year.

Just noticed this Rangers are 7-0 vs New Jersey this season(with one game left to play vs them). Nice turn around vs your hated rival as the Devils seem to always own the rangers in the past.mrgab

And notice the difference Scott Gomez makes? We need him if we're gonna make an impact in the playoffs.

My Caps have been playing really well lately, and hopefully they'll finish the season strong to make the playoffs. We're not the best team in the league or anything, but when you have the best player in the world you always have a shot to make some noise.Gamer556
