How's your NBA team doing?

My Mavericks are 26-12 and currently are a half game back for the best record in the Western Conference right now, I think. They've beaten the Suns, and the Spurs one out of their 2 meetings so far. Oh, and they've beaten the Warriors in both meetings so far! Hah, maybe the monkey is off their back?:lol:

They started the season a little inconsisent, especially on defense. Now, they've begun to gel and look more and more like the dominant team they were during the last regular season. I see that they have a slightly different focus now, and cruising a little more until April. That's good, because they are talented enough to turn it up after the All-Star break like the Spurs do. :)

So, you might see the Mavericks in the NBA Finals, facing the Celtics or Pistons or some other momentous team like the Cavaliers. Don't expect another collapse come June.:lol:

Pretty good. Best record in the NBA still. Having January Woes. But so is everyone else.

The Mavericks have a knack for making big comebacks on the Raptors. :P

The Knicks are doing ok this past week. 3 game winning streak!! :D

As for this season in general..... :(

My team (the Jazz) are doing well but they keep going up and down. They are 7-3 out of the last 10 so they are fine for now. Hopefully Mehmet Okur will start playing how he was last season because that is something the Jazz have been missing.

The Spurs better hope the Warriors don't play them in the playoffs, Warriors have beaten them both times they've played, both times they were healthy too.

The Hornets are 27-12 and Chris Paul is playing like the best point guard in the league.

He has the chance to be the first NBA player to average 20 points, 10 assists, and 3 steals for a season.

I don't jump on bandwagons.

Philly is doing horrible. I gave up on the season already and hoping that Mo Cheeks is fired, Rick Carlisle replaces him and that we get a good big man or point guard. Andre Miller is a nice assists guy, but look at the top teams, they all have a point guard who can get assists, but also are scoring threats (Nash, Parker, Billups) and the other great PGs also are scoring threats. (D. Williams, CP3, etc.)

The Lakers are doing great at 27-12, but this is just almost half-way through the season. Without Bynum, Kobe has to be a team player.

The New Orleans Hornets are rockin' the best record in the west right now and I'm simply wowed.

So glad I went to the game tonight. We can run the break, play defense, score inside, score outside, and are slowly gaining bench production. What more could you want from a team?

Oh right, to be holding up the Finals trophy in the end...

God awful. The Supersonics are sucking. Doesn't matter though, Clay Bennett is moving them to Oklahoma anyways. Oh well, at least the tickets are cheap. If I wanted to I could just buy a ticket the night of the game and go to Key Arena.monkeytoes61

Boston is doing fine :) They can't win everything. And its regular season. (33-7) enough said :D
