I'm starting to realize

Easports really sucks. I've been playing these games for years, but it's become pretty obvious EA hypes their games up and has that name that people just know and trust but if you look at their games they are lesser quality. I'm not saying they are bad. They are good enough to get by, but compare live to nba 2k. Compare Fifa with PES. etc...... All EA does is use their muscle to buy up licenses and they sell more games than anyone. Football would be the same. If 2k still ahd the license who knows what they could do. I honestly may not give EA another cent. I've spent enough on thier games. I bought madden this year and it's really not that good.

yeah they're pretty terrible. I hate how they changed Fight Night too, that was the only ea sports franchise I truly cared about and don't even let me get started on madden, just take a look at the link in my sig and compare it to this

I just get pissed at their football games. I buy them every year because I need my football, but damn, EA takes forever to add in no-brainer features or features that were in last-gen games.

Well look at the EA Sports game ratings, your opinion may be yours but the ratings don't lie, simply their games are good and great. 2K in my eyes has the edge in Basketball and that is it. Madden has always been the football king whether you like to hear it or not. Mister__Awesome

NFL 2k2 - 9.5

NFL 2k3 - 9.6

NFL 2k4 - 9.3

NFL 2k5 - 9.2

For Hockey, there's nothing that compares to EA's NHL 09 and 10. But I heard 2k10 is pretty good on the Wii.

For Basket-Ball, 2K is miles ahead.

For football, well they are pretty much alone but back in the days 2K made great games (see post above)

For soccer, FIFA has retaken the lead over PES since 07 or 08.

I don't know about Fight Night or Tiger Woods as I don't play them.

The Ratings until the last installment of 2K5 compared to Madden werent that significant. Madden 05 had a 9.0 and 2K5 had a 9.1. At the end of the day it pends on what license you prefer back them.
