Into there high school sports? I'm in high school right now and my friend is on the football team. SO I go to a couple games. was anyone ever really big with their highschool sports/
Yes I was, I played OL and loveeed it, love football and have any chance of playing it in a somewhat competitive level was great, also great memories from it and from college too... Enjoy it man is really great!
When I was in high school I really hated jock culture, still do. I occasionally went to a football game, but I spent most of the time hanging out behind the bleachers.
Im not big anymore. In middle school I was but when i got tohigh school football was boring because it was more of you have to win and less fun. I like to win and we did but I was like meh about it.
So I quiit and joined wrestling. Ill tell you my wrestling practice today was harder then a year of football, the whole year.
As much as I follow College and Pro sports... not once was I ever interested in my High school's sports or High school sports in general. Had a guy from my school go straight to the Miami Heat from high school and did not watch one of his games.
I played ice hockey in high school, but my school it self didn't have a JV squad so I ended playing for like 3 different high school though out my playing career.
i played basketball freshman year to senior year. i won the coach's award my junior and senior year. i was into basketball at my highschool. and i would go to a good amount of the football games. other than that i didnt care about the other sports.
I played football at my HS all 4 years and I loved it. Freshman year was probably the most memorable because practices were intense much more then varsity. Also at the time I wasn't sure exactly what position I wanted to play and my coach decided to make me a RB after watching me in a few drills. I was never that good at DB but as a RB I did well
I was captain of my baseball team. Pitched and played center field. Our football team was 90% run so when I played, it was so boring and predictable. Doomtime
Yeah, our QB sucks so we just run too. Boring as hell to watch, I never go to games.
I played football but I didn't really care to go watch any basketball games or baseball games. I would go to a couple but that was it. I think high school sports are cool though, I just had other stuff (work mainly) that I did when I wasn't playing sports myself.
