Ah I see, he is just fronting, he must like Cooper MAnning and his oil and gas stock trading firm
I know you love the Mannings, but have we sunk to the point where we're crowning the "best road team?" Hahaha.
Listen, there is no "Road team." The same Giants team that plays away from home also plays at home. There is just a best "team." If you lose 10 games at home but win 5 straight on the road your team sucks regardless of how many wins you hobble together away from home. Just because they happen to win more away from home doesn't make them any better of any sort team overall, it's a useless thing to ask. A win at home is just the same as a win away, same goes for a loss.
Look at their schedule. Excluding the playoffs, they won more on the road because the teams they played away from home tended to be the less talented teams.
http://www.giants.com/gameday/schedule.html
The only reason they had to win on the road during the playoffs is because they didn't play good enough during the RS to earn home field.
"They've won 10 games out of a possible 11 even on the road. 10 game win streak and now they're in the SB. Are they the greatest road team in history? "
Thats a compelling argument....besides the fact that the patriots are 8/8 on the rode this year..hahahahaha.so in other news you fail

I live in NY. I didn't create threads about Giants b/c before there wasn't much to talk about with the Giants. If you look at most Giants-Bucs or Giants-Pats regular season threads, I posted in those.
I like the Colts b/c that's the first team I started watching when I started watching football. Giants b/c well, they're my hometown team. Mannings are my favorite players b/c they're on my favorite teams, not the other way around.

He already tried. I lost a couple limbs and currently can't feed myself, but I...I survived.

No he doesn't. He has a REALLY good argument. Winning on the road is hard, even the Patriots know that. If the Ravens coach doesn't call a Time out that game is over and we're not even talking about perfection. And the Giants and Colts gave the Patriots a good fight on the road as well. I take nothing away from the Patriots, they're a great football team, but the Giants have earned the nick name "The Road Warriors."
Winning a playoff game at Lambeau field under the conditions the Giants were playing in is a VERY impressive feet. And not just did they do that, throw out the score, they MANHANDLED The Packers. The Giants were moving the ball up and down the field, and the defense gave up 1 big play. If it weren't for that RW McQuarter interception into a fumble, the Sam Madison personal foul, and giving up that big play to Donald Driver this game would have been a blow out. The quick Packers Defense was supposed to Smother the Giants, and Brett Favre was supposed to pick apart that secondary. NONE of that happened.
Not to mention winning at Dallas, with that hot home crowd the Cowboys have, is not easy to do. The only teams to do it this season were the Patriots and at the time, a pretty good Eagles team.
And lets not forget that Buccaneers game. People were OVERRATING that Buccaneers defense, saying the Giants had no shot against them, that even the other loud mouth (aka Ronde Barber) trash talked Eli Manning. And not to mention, the "dynamic offense" lead by Jeff Garcia.
And above all else. They won all 3 convincingly. I've been a fan for 19 years. I haven't seen the Giants play at this level since 1990. And to do it on the road, which yeah, does make a difference, is just incredible.
People have been giving the Giants no shot for the last month. I say, KEEP DOING IT!!! PLEASE!!! Everybody keep rooting against the Giants. Its been working for them all post season.
Not the greatest but pretty good. They reallly got lucky during the GB game.MOM-D
No they didn't. They outplayed the Packers from opening kick off to the end. If anything, the Packers were the ones getting lucky, that game could've been a blow out.
that doesn't mean anything. Home or away, it's still the same game. The 99 Rams were the greatest team in history.mohfrontline
when they they become the greatest team ever lol what noob comment
Not a chance, the Steelers of a few years ago would of beat them...among others.Espurs117
You don't know that.

how do u figure. if i remember right they have 1 road loss this season. the pats have none.

Read my posts before. In my opinion they are. Is it arguable? Of course, but its a damn good one. And as said, if not for a botched Time Out call, we're not talking about perfection.
The Giants went into both Texas Stadium and Lambeau Field, and beat the Cowboys, and besides the score, MANHANDLED the Packers. If not for a 2 penalties and a interception into a fumble by McQuarters, that game wouldn't of been NEARLY as close.
The Patriots have been consistently good all year, but the Giants have been spectacular on the road, and for some reason, ONLY the road. And I think the Steelers are a team that should definitely be in the discussion.
I hate how some Cowboy fans and Eagles fans are saying "its a fluke" the Giants are in the Super Bowl. Face it, winning 3 straight playoff games is NOT a fluke. No one wants to give the Giants credit.

You didn't, but some people on here have. Sorry for the miscommunication.
If they win it all then yes, if they lose in the Superbowl then no.
I think the Steelers that made it to and won the Superbowl is a better road team then the Giants right now because they won it all.
Jaysonguy
Except that Super Bowl was a home game for the Steelers, in every sense. It was less than 300 miles from Pittsburgh, and over 2,300 miles from Seattle. Nearly 95% of the crowd was rooting for the Steelers.

dcowboys3315
But the Giants have more road wins than the Patriots.
The Patriots are 8-0 on the road. The Giants are 10-1 on the road.
[QUOTE="Just_Osmo"][QUOTE="king23_"]Why does everyone think a team this year is the greatest ever at something? :?G5W
You win 3 play off games and your the best road team ever. lol
Plus 7 straight prior to the postseason.
..and? They lost 5 of 8 at home. Pats won 8 straight road and 10 straight home. Does that make the pats the best road and home team ever?
