The Giants not only blew out the Seahawks, they did it without Plaxico Burress. Even David Carr had a Touchdown pass, lol.

Lol not even close the only decent team they have played was Washington(and the only reason they beat them was because they didnt have their **** together yet) imo their not even in the top 5 (Dallas, Titans, Denver, Washington, and the Panthers are all better then them and a few others would be better if it werent for injuries)..

This is about the most arrogant post i've read today. Since when in the NFL or any professional sport are their excuses when you lose? So, since the Giants beat the Redskins week 1, it's not becuase the Giants beat them...it's because they weren't "ready"? That's a bunch of bull to me. A win is a win.

And on the subject of the best team, the Giants are deffiantly up there but they still need to prove themselves against better and tougher teams.

How is that an "arrogant post? Anyway you aren't looking at the big picture of my post which is the Giants have the kind of schedule that 1/3 of the league could be 4-0 with. And guess what Im not making an excuse for them the offense needed time to get in sync if the Giants versed the Redskins right now I am fairly certain the Redskins would score more then 7 points..

seems to me that we have a mixed results in this topic i think the giants are in the top 3 in the league but when it comes down to the playoffs it seems that the underdog not the best record team is winning the superbowl like last year the giants superbowl XL the steelers the bucs when they won it and when the pats beat the rams in the last 8 years we have had about 50% of the top dog teams in the regular season to win the superbowl. right now i would rather see my team lose one at this point in the season than to lose one or two at the end of the season the latest i wouldn't mind see my team lose if they have already made the playoffs would have to be their 14th game

Well not really most of the teams that has the same schedule that the giants has can start 4-0. Actually so far, the giant schedule has been pretty easy especially when your facing teams such as the rams, seahawks and bengals. Rams and seahawks have been totally falling apart. and as for the bengals while their offence might be one of the strongest in the league their defense is pretty much quite the opposite and thats mainly why they are struggling. Personally i have a tough time placing the giants in the top 5 category let alone them being the best team. maybe top 5 but i dont think they are the best team in the nfl. well imo.

We won't really know how good the Giants are for a few more weeks. They have a rough 3 week stretch (at Phil, Dal, at Pitt) that will tell us a lot.

Until then, they are in the top five as far as I'm concerned, with Washington, Dallas, Tennessee, and maybe Denver or Carolina.

Just because the Redskins lost to them in week one makes them better? Sure, lets go with that...

Truthfully I wouldnt even consider the giants top 5. I think the team to beat at the moment is either the skins/bills or titans.

Skins mainly took out two really strong teams in the nfc - cowboys and eagles. giants had the easiest schedule so far this year facing the Rams, seahawks and bengals.

Redskins to me is a better team than the giants. giants isnt a better team than the skins all because they have beaten them in one game. thats like me saying miami is a better than the pats because they have destroyed them one game. redskins had a tougher schedule and still overcome wins. look who the giants facing, i bet about 9-10 teams with that sort of schedule would remain undeafted such as the giants.

i'll go with panthers or skins. im guessing cowboys is a more logical pick but they've been struggling, which shouldn't be considering their 'all-star' team.

Bills losing to the cardinals i dont see as a big deal especially when the bills lost their starting qb. Regardlessly though Arizona is a great team- they are ranked 5th in points, 5 in yards, and 3rd in passing yards.

And having two great wide receivers such as boldin and fitzgerald which both of them are among top ten in receiving yards btw and boldin tying for receiving touchdowns with 5. and Kurt Warner leading them, its really kind of tough to pull a victory especially when your facing against them. if you show me that the bills are losing to a team that is struggling this year such as the browns, chiefs etc. then you have my attention :P, but until then i think the bills are the best if not then definetly top 5. one week doesnt move them away from the top 5 category imo.

The Giants are the best team on paper---they've beaten the teams they should beat. And they should go 6-0. What will tell if they are a great team is the next half of their season when they start playing better teams with better Qbs and defenses. It's a much much harder schedule so they'd better win the next two.

I don't get what makes people think they're NOT the best team in the league. Yes they have had an easy schedule, but they're 4-0. There's nothing they can do about it. The QB is playing tremendous and efficient. 63% completion and 1 int in 4 games. The running game is as good as any team in the NFL. An elite WR and the deepest WR corp in the NFL. A top 5 offensive line. Still the best pass rush in the NFL and the overall defense is still dominating b/c of Spagnola's (sp) genius. The special teams aren't spectacular, but solid. This team right now doesn't have a glaring weakness and is exceling at every aspect of the game. IMO they're without a doubt the best team in the league. I guess we'll see starting week 8.

no....my opinion is extremely biased on the subject but i hate the giants, there just.....well some of there fans have gotten so arrogant after that super bowl win, i really want them to lose there next game just so that they can be humbeled if only slightly
