[QUOTE="HurricaneHugo"] 1. Probably some of the screws connecting your trucks to your deck are loose.
2. I usually just slide using my right foot, until i come to a stop, but soles get weared out quickly like that...
3. Ollie first, because a lot of tricks (kickflips, heelflips, etc;) build upon it. I never learned how to do a good manual...

1. My screws dont seem to be loose, in fact, nothing seems loose, but are you sure thats the problem?
2. what you mean slide with your right foot?
3. k, thanks for answering that question :)
You guys might remember me making a topic about what board to get, etc. Well yeah I got my skateboard and so far I can ride it pretty well. Did a couple of research and found out that I am goofy and thanks god I never pushed mongo that I heard its hard to do tricks like that and make you look dumb so I'm pretty much set. There are a few questions I have so if you guys can help, I'd appreciate it alot.
1 - When I push my board by itself, it seems to be turning slightly by itself in one direction. Is this normal? If not, how can I fix it
2 - I've read many ways to stop when going fast, but I tried them all and they all hurt my foot pretty bad, which way would you guys suggest for me to stick to because I doo't want to jump off everytime :P
3 - Should I learn to manual or ollie first whenever I get the chance? Manual seems much easier, but aloit of people start out with ollie.

1: Your foot is not centered property. If you did not know you turn when moving by shifting your weight at which time the trucks bend toward the side your leaning and in turn turn the board. If when you are gaining speed your weight is not centered the board willw ant to turn.
2:Sliding your back or front foot on the ground will slow you down via friction of your foot on the street. That or you can lean the board back causing the back lip to grind on the street (this takes balance and if you are new to riding a board you may fall).
3: All skateboarding tricks are based off the ollie in one way or another. if you can't ollie you can't skate. Period. Manuals aren't necisary and will naturally come in time when you learn how to balance the board in motion.
That help?
