I dont know if you guys heard Stephen A Smith talk about Kwame Brown after the trade with Gasol. But that was the best and funniest thing Smith has ever said. I recommend you check it out on ESPN. He's honestly one of the most pathetic excuses for a basketball player I've ever seen.

After that debacle a few weeks back where he bobbled every pass & got booed off the court, I said in a thread "They should just relase or trade him". Glad we were able to get a great player(Gasol) in exchange for one of the biggest underachiveres to ever play proffesional basketball. Good riddance.

Nice one, they have that video of him getting booed in the Phx game, that was really funny and how dumb he looked trying to play ball.

He's so fragile. He needs to be constantly coddled to have any chance at playing well. He'll never be anything but pathetic offensively, but when he plays with confidence, his height and athleticism makes him a pretty good defender.

I don't think anyone will want to coddle him this much. He'll be out of the league soon.

Anybody think they will give him a new contract next season? I hope not, he doesnt deserve it.balindos

yes, some team desperate for size will pick him up. He's a decent defender only because of his size. He can body up Garnett, Duncan, Yao, etc.

He's actually a good backup center. Decent defense, and he can give up a couple fouls without worrying about losing his offense. I didn't mind him as the Lakers' backup, but obviously I'm happy about the trade.murlow12

I guess a backup isnt that bad but he in useless on offense. If you just watch him on offense you will notice that he is lost and does not know what to do hahaha

I knew Brown was going to bring the Lakers down after seeing him play in Washington. Everybody was hyping him up here in LA and they didnt know what was coming. As for Stephen A, that was the best thing he has ever said. Usually he says things that are way off like, "Denver is going to win the title mark my words". He yells and usually is always wrong except about Kwame.
