It's a good move but people are gonna complain that he isn't good at defense when D-fish, sessions, and blake weren't/aren't any better.
Big Nash fan here, going to be a little weird seeing him in a Lakers uniform. But I really want him to get a ring, short of miami or Okalahoma this was his best spot. Really happy he didn't go to the Knicks or the Raptors (would have been nice to watch him live all year, but he would never have won anything there).
This deal doesnt make the Lakers better than OKC. The West is still tougher. he had a better shot in NY considering the EAST is even weaker now that the Bulls will be without Rose and possibly without key memebers of their bench mob. The Nets with or without Howard can cotend aswell as Boston. 76ers are still young and Pacers may lose Hibert. The West will still be loaded.Big Nash fan here, going to be a little weird seeing him in a Lakers uniform. But I really want him to get a ring, short of miami or Okalahoma this was his best spot. as a laker fan ..all i can do is hope lebron decides to start choking again...because lebron is amazing...and can beat a whole team by himself...
also...we should get rid of gasol.... i know he is impossible to replace... the only candidates are garnett and duncan....but gasol is not happy being a 3rd option in LA and i think he a cancer to the team.
Also as a Suns fan, I cant believe they use the money saved on Nash towards Michael Beasley(3 yr $18m) and Gordon Drogic (4yr $30m).PSP107Beasley is a waste, that guy is so inconsistent but getting Drogic was smart, they actually got a PG with a lot of potential that was ballin' the 2nd half of last year

It was a very good move IMHO. Screw the defensive side of the ball. The Lakers have guys that can cover for him well enough and what he brings offensively will be huge. I am not a Lakers fan at all (Utah Jazz so that should tell you where I stand), but this was a very good move by the Lakers. He is still very good offensively and they can cope with his lack of defense. The move really came out of left field though. I had him pegged for NY or TOR.
[QUOTE="game-ster23"]In crunch time, I think Kobe would want the ball 22 of 24 seconds of the shot clock. They will do much better this season with his experience, controlling each game.

Maybe the hope is that with Nash, the Lakers can build more leads early and face fewer late game situations?

That, and have Kobe fresher for late game situations. Kobe was tired in a lot of fourth quarters last year cus Mike Brown's an imbecile when it comes to watching minutes. He had the highest usage rate in the league by a fair margin. That's not good when you're 34.In crunch time, I think Kobe would want the ball 22 of 24 seconds of the shot clock.PSP107

Couldn't that have happened in the regular ol' private workout sessions that they'd all be doing if they weren't practicing with Team USA?

They gave him $95mUm, okay? Question still stands? If he wasn't working out with Team USA, he'd be doing his own offseason workouts, yes? I mean, I assume these guys don't just sit on the couch all summer waiting for the next NBA season to begin.
I like Nash and all but they really need a decent center. Bynum is nowhere near competitive enough. AllicrombieCan't be serious.

Im pretty sure most players start working out during traning camp. But I rather my player gets injured during NBA stuff. Do people really care about the Olympics? People only cared when the USA lost in 2004.[QUOTE="Master_Live"][QUOTE="Allicrombie"]I like Nash and all but they really need a decent center.
