The Heat with Lebron is no different than what Kobe has in LA. Kobe has like 4 or 5 other all stars on that team to make things work.

Odom has made the all star list before and so has Artest. Bynum will probably be an all star before his time is up. Fisher is just a good role player. And Brown will enter and win the dunking contest next year and has the potential to be an all star.

I just checked the Lakers roster and they now have Caracter who should mix in well with Artest.

Artest made the all star team 6 years ago. I guess we should include Big Z as an all star Lebron is playing with considering he made the all star team in 2005 too

Brown will never be an all star, Bynum will be but Lakers have already proved they can win a championship without much from him

if you count it up Lebron has 2 all stars on the Cavs roster while Kobe is playing with 1

Odom is far from his old self, Brown is a good backup, but thats it. Bynum played injured all playoffs long and even when healthy, he's no all-star imo. And Artest is great defensively, but very inconsistent offensively. He's a star, I'll agree with that though. And you just said he has 4 or 5 stars along with him? I agree that NBA is rigged but this free agency is more about the player involved in it than the teams. Thus 3 of the big time players are getting to choose where they want to play ball to form a competitive team.

There is nothing against other big time free agents or big time players wanting to play on another team with big time players. Like maybe Dirk and Carmelo go to the bulls instead of the bulls boozer. Or maybe Dirk and Carmelo go to the Knicks.

Ultimately it just forms more competitive teams than what there used to be, making the overall nba league more interesting.

I hope Leborn goes to bulls, nets, cavs or knicks. I'm leaning a bit towards the bulls because that would make the east title really fun. Bulls vs Heat. (leborn vs wade).

If james goes to heat it'll be cool to watch the trio, but it will also make the league less competitive and not much fun to watch.
