He's got 28-5-5 at halftime and the cavs are only up 5 so unless the cavs blow it open in the 3rd i would expect he'd play in the 4th. I'm not sure if he'll out score kobe but if he puts up a triple double with 50 points that would be crazy. I feel bad for the Knicks, you got the two best individual players in back to back games, then you have to deal w/ the Celtics in the next game.

I have a feeling he'll out do him, but I think his 50 points with 10 assists last year was already as good. It's amazing to see two amazing players put up such high numbers in the same week.

I would be really shocked if he didn't try to see what he could get in free agency in 2010.

I think Lebron's performance was miles more impressive, cause he did everything for the Cav's and sealed up a win. Kobe just kind of went on a shooting binge. They are both impressive scoring marks, but do this against a great Knick team of the past (say like 94-95) and then you become a legend of sorts. Jordan diced them up time and again but he had to earn his the hard way (fore arm to the face everytime going into the lane). Just bring on the Playoffs already, cause all the good teams are ready to go at it. We really don't need to see who gets in the playoffs at the 7th & 8th seeds.

I agree, and I'm a Lakers fan. This performance was absolutely ridiculous.

Lebron's performance was all round better but Kobe is still a better player!! Don't think the Knicks are terrible they stayed close with the Cavs even with Leborn's night!

As a Lakers fan I'll give LeBron his props. A triple double with 52 points is more impressive than Kobe's 61.

Lets see what he does if he takes the Celtics to a game 7 again. Until this guy can do it cold-blooded with the game on the line in the playoffs i don't buy it.
