One more thing...I feel that the Pistons coaches helped lose this game for detroit b/c that last play call to end the game was terrible...Chauncey drove alone and had to shoot an off balanced jump shot, that's not detroit basketball I'm used to.Â
oh yeah, if Mcdyess hadn't been ejected in the first quarter for Varajo's flop(terrible move on officals part) than detroit would've closed this out...b/c dyss is a veterian, Jason Maxiell is in his 2nd year....
That was just flat out amazing! If Lebron can hold off the Pistons just one more game, maybe these Finals will be worth watching afterall. Renegade_Fury

Agreed, LeBrons vs. Duncan...So historic, 2 time MVP, 3 time NBA Champ against Bron's first Finals appereance. Â
in the king's mind:" damn, what's with these peeps? i met more resistance in a practice game. " :D:D

Couldn't agreed more, I went WTF, he should had drive to the basket and was the worst team that could had happend? A) he gets fouled B) He gets a decent look at the basket C) Gets the Cavs to collapsed on him and then passes the ball to an open man. Just moronic, really dissapointed with Billups performance in this series.Â

I will admit Varajo does flop a bit, but I'm sorry when a guy wraps his arm around a shooters face thats not a flop. Plus even if Mcdyess was in there that would have just been one more guy for Lebron to score on for the win. It would have made no difference.
i am 25 years old and was a huge jordan fan so i was witness to a lot of his great performances. This by far is the best single game performance in relation to the situation that i've ever seen. Maybe when jordan went for 60 against the celtics in the playoffs but other than that this was it. The thing about Jordan's great games in the 90's is that he always had pippen and other clutch players from kerr to paxon that weren't scared to shoot. EVERYONE ON THE CAVS WERE RUNNING AWAY FROM THE BALL. THEY WANTED NOTHING TO DO W/ THE MOMENT. It reminded me of the kings vs. lakers western conference finals when bibby was torching the lakers until they started triple teaming him at the top of the key and the result-Peja air ball 3 pointer, Christie brick 3 pointer, etc. How can one person score 29 OF 30 STRAIGHT POINTS. THAT'S REDICULOUSsixringz1

Its was like if Mike Brown said: "If anyone takes a shot besides LeBron you are cut from the team".
Not just 29 of the Cavs final 30, but a lot of those points came off extremely difficult shots. Fadeaway threes, runners in the paint, behind the back dribble into the offhanded jumper, cutting through three defenders and uncurling the ball for an easy layup. Only two turnovers all game with all that ball handling, and a key defensive play on Tayshaun to force a turnover in OT.
And Chauncey, despite another crucial mistake, did keep the Pistons in the game during regulation with that clutch three.
It's a shame if the Cavs really do make it to the finals this year. It won't be worth watching, Lebron is doing too much work for his team to make it there. He's going to be tired, and the Spurs are going to be well rested. Not to mention they are more of a complete team than the Pistons. So the Lebronvaliers are going to get stomped if they do win tomorrow or Monday. I think the same goes with Detroit, they will use up all of their energy and then lose in 5 just like last year to the Heat. So either way, I would say the Spurs win in 5 or 6.

Not for nothing, but the Cavs did go 2-0 against the Spurs in the regular season, they can hang with them. Of course the Spurs are a better team, but so are these Pistons.

Spurs are now different team after the 2nd half of the season, yes Cavs swept Spurs in regular season but i think right now Spurs are playing great defense with offense.
