That's the gimmick for next year? Madden 12: Realistic Concussions? frostybanana
That's what I was thinking.
Is this really that big of a deal? Hell, if my qb dislocated his non-throwing shoulder, I would still keep him in the game.
I don't remember the last time I saw a concussion in madden, so this won't be a huge difference maker.[QUOTE="ohjtbehaaave"]How about doing TACKLING realistically first EA!white_sox
What you do mean?
You can't be serious are you? The Madden tackling and collision detection has been a total joke for years now. During a full game of Madden you'd be lucky to see maybe 5 tackles that looked like the real thing you see on Sunday. I'm not into the BB game like others are... but it's really pathetic that it took Backbreaker to introduce a revolutionary tackling and physics engine in a Football game... and it wasn't EA's Madden doing it. EA/Tiburon are the ultimate slackers... and are also proving they don't have the talented devs to elevate the Madden franchise in any way. This concussion announcement is beyond absurd and a waste of time. Typical EA looking for more BS to put "On the back of the Box".
Madden is all hype every year now... and it's a reheat that has taken baby steps every year. I've always referred to the tackling in Madden as "Grenade" physics. Because when a defender hits a ball carrier... all the defenders start getting blasted backwards, to the ground or into the air etc...It's pathetic AI the Madden tackling engine. If you need to see tons of examples... just go on YouTube. Below is one example of the tackling AI's suckage.

First few minutes sums up the tackling system.
now for their next improvement they should get rid of their monoploy on the NFL franchise and allow free market competition again.
that way sega sports can go back to making nfl games that were a far better than EAs madden series, and I can stop playing 2k5...

I see what you're saying, but that seems to only limit the game from a visual perspective, no?You can't be serious are you?
