Has anyone heard anything about MLB 2K8 for the wii? I know it's out March 3rd. I wasn't sure if anyone knew about the controls, and if the hitting and pitching are actually dependent on how you throw/swing - unlike in the wii sports version of it.

Motion Controls for Multiplats are thrown on and not well thought out, so i doubt they will be any good. Look for Wii Exclusive games if your hoping for well designed motion controls.

I agree. Madden is terrible on the Wii. If you have another system I would skip the Wii version. At least rent it before buying, or you'll probably be sorry.

I think the best bet for baseball on the Wii is Mario Baseball. I own a Wii and 360, and I stay away from "hardcore" sports games on the Wii, but loved Mario Baseball on the Gamecube and I think it could be a lot of fun on the Wii as well. It comes out this year, though I'm not sure when.

Madden 08 was terrible on the Wii. 07 was phenomenal.
