[QUOTE="StealthySniper1"]Red Soxs have a winning season in 09
Bruins have a winning season in 09
Celtics go back to the NBA Championship
Jaguars bounce back from a 5-15 and go 12-4 like they should have.
Gators win the National Title
Jaguars draft our hometown hero (Tebow and Garrard tears his ACL and Tebow is awarded our starter!!!!)
Jaguars fire our OC (who only loves the run game and 5 yard passing routes and hires Martz)
Jaguars fire our DC (Williams and sign someone that can actually replace Mike Smith and do a good job)

I sure as hell hope the Jags bounce back. As for Garrard, I would never EVER wish injury to any player, especially one from my team. If we draft Tebow or anyone really, I hope he earns the job rather than take it due to injury. I like Garrard. He's a solid QB when he has a good O-line and doesn't have to throw 30-35 times a game. If anything, we need to beef up the O-line as we saw Garrard struggle, and even the run game was not as effective as it used to be. I know injuries were a big part, but you can never have enough depth in my opinion.
Man, I don't know why I said 5-15, but it was 5-11. The colts are done, their dynasty is dying. Their oline is aged, you saw all season/tonight they can't run. Their defense can't stop the run and I don't think we'll have a problem being 2nd int he AFC south. I'm more worried about the Titans, if they lose Haynesworth, then not so much because I know Young won't be effective. In 2009, it's stated we'll draft a OT to replace Barnes (kid from Baylor looks like a Tony B.). The Texans are getting better, but I feel we can bounce back from this. Remember, both of our guards were on IR and Meester was gone for 7 games and never was 100 percent. Our run game will be back, I just hope to god Taylor stays for 1 more season until we draft a good back to replace him. Long story short, I'm not worried for 2009 since Garrard won't be throwing. Why do I hate Garrard? The guy sucks man, he's an average QB who stole money from the franchise and Del Rio was stupid to say he needed 60 million dollars before he did anything. Enough though Manning looked meh tonight with smart choices to keep drives going, Manning took a team that couldn't run and threw for wins. Garrard, he can't. Garrard was milking a great team, the 2nd best NFL rushing team for 2x seasons. So, when you don't have to throw for NEED then you don't need to GREED to win. The game is set for you, it's like HS for most schools really. In HS it's mostly run, run, run and sometimes pass and that's how we were in 2007 and that's why he only threw 3 ints. I'm sick of Garrard, he's too average for that deal and I hope he gets hurt for a career and loses his money so we can pay someone that is worth 60 million dollars and not ruin our season. The Jaguars had enough talent to do something, maybe not dominate the run, but if you had Tom Brady/Brees,Manning and etc at QB we would have scored more points. In our 1st 10 games, Garrard either won the games or completely lost them for us. Our defense would actually keep us in the game and Garrard would turn a pick or fumble it away. I will give Garrard one more try to earn my respect as a fan, but too many people are on my side not his. People are mainly made at his large deal like I am. I feel he didn't prove anything in 2007 and now we're stuck with him. That's why I wish bad on him if he doesn't snap out of his funk. As for Tim, I know Tim would be perfect for us. The guy can run and throw better then David.
David, is good for average grade but I don't see a 60 million QB in him. I don't see any leadership in him, when we were losing he would just laugh and smile. When you see the colts lose, manning doesn't smile or laugh. Manning is pissed, thinking and planning and when he loses he's stiff face and has **** Garrard., he just laughs and smiles and doesn't care since he got his money imo. That's why I hate David Garrard and wish him to get hurt to avoid this deal. I'm not a hateful person or a mean person, but David did ruin this season for us. We did have problems on defense with Gregg Williams scheme, going from 10th in points allowed and 6th in 06 and etc in the past being very good. We had a better d then the 07 d and I can understand we had problems on that side of the football. But, Garrard did have a run game that would do good certain games and garrard would fall apart and play below average. I agree we need depth. Watch 2009 Draft. I can promise you Round 1 OT ROund 2 CB or RB Round 3 DT or RB Round 4 Defense Round 5 Defense Round 6 Defense Round 7 Defense We should be under 26 million in the cap next season. We have a great team, I told people going into this season. Our future is on garrards shoulders, I played QB. I played with Tim Tebow, the guy you all know.
I watched how he controlled the team, how we all looked up to him for us to win. I watched this season, when he lost to Ole Miss, he did the same speech (sorta) about nobody tries harder then him and stomped off and he took us to state that same season and won. This is what I want to see from Garrard, I don't see it. I just see a Garrard to happy he won the starting job, we need a leader. In Football, your QB needs to lead your team. Unless you're the Ravens, who truly never needed a QB. They needed a MLB (the QB for their D). Lewis was the true leader for them.
sorry if my post doesn't make sense on the paragraphs, I have no clue why GS forums does this.
