Really do you? Do you realize before their career is over, these two quarterbacks could EASILY be the undisputed 1-2 quarterback in the history of football? I feel sad for football fans 10 years from now. No matter who they have, they'll never get to experience the greatest, purest quarterback rivalry in the history of the sport. By purest I mean, two quarterbacks of this caliber where it's as much a QB rivalry as a team rivalry.

Man I feel lucky.

For sure they're two of the best to play the game. I don't think it is really possible to rank them by numbers but to me there is no question they're two of the best of all time.

It is amazing because there are maybe two or three other QBs out there that are "ok" and the rest mostly poor.

LMAO I just posted in the thread about the Pats "running up the score" and this was something I posted.

"EDIT: If players are having a good game why should they be benched? Records would never be broken if that was the case. In the future Brady's stats will be compared with the greatest known but with people wanting him benched his true stats would be discarded. I can imagine a future thread with the topic being: "Brady or Manning" (kinda like Young and Marino) and people would pull out facts like the single season TD passing record."

I guess the future is here!!!!

EDIT: The EDIT above was for the thread but this EDIT is for this topic. I think Manning and Brady are both equal but both play a different style. Really what makes their stats are the different players around them.

Yes, two best QBs dueling out. Brady with 6-3 record and Manning won last three. This should be good.

Personally I dislike em both and the whole hype coming from both of em is stupid, now if their still in the game 3-4 years from now I could give them credit but it seems with talent these days is short lived. But if I had to choose one of em out of the two I would go with Brady.

Right now, I feel lucky to be able to watch quite possibly the greatest football player to ever play the game.

Manning and Brady are great QBs but Favre is a great football player and a legend. Madden doesn't have a man crush on him for his looks.

The fact that I have seen "Over-Rated Manning" in this thread tells me that someone doesn't know about football. Peyton Manning is THE best QB TO EVER play the game of football. I'm putting him above Dan Fouts, Warren Moon, Steve Young, Johnny Unitas, and everyone else. Peyton's ability to find the open man, and to deliver the ball with such perfect touch, is simply amazing.

I don't like Tom Brady, but I respect his play. He is another great quarter back; he is probably one of the most composed QBs in the game today. You could send a train at him and he would stay in the pocket. But I think Brady is second to a lot of people. Peyton for one. So I would take Peyton any day over Tom Brady. Taking nothing away from Tom tho, Peyton is just better.

It really is amazing to see these two quarterbacks play every year. I just wish Peyton would stop doing all those damn commercials... he's beginning to make himself look like a sellout in my mind... But in regards to the football field, regardless of who wins and loses, you know every Brady v. Manning game will be epic and memorable.

Yes they are two of the greatest QBs of our time at the moment. But as I have always said before, history/tradition was meant to be broken. NFL records come and go. How long until the next Brady or Manninge like QB to come out and compete, no one knows. It will eventually happen.

Brady is on fire right now!!

Brady is gonna just kill the Colt's passing defence. Wes Welker, and Donte Stallworth are both having amazing seasons and Brady still has Randy Moss, who is finally on a team thats good because he deserves to win a Super Bowl.

Orly? The Colts have one of the best pass Defenses, i think the bigger question is will they be able to stop Freeney and Mathis from getting to Brady........because good luck trying to run it on them.

It was just one guy. Ignore him. Anyone calling either of these quarterbacks overrated is just trying to incite a response.

You know what kills me about this rivalry too? Some silly fans are "fed up" with it and tired of the same old "Colts Pats" AFC champ games... man, I certainly ain't, and I'm a Lions fan fo life (please, refrain from insults, we are indeed... well, I won't list our record, don't want to jinx muh team). Last years Colts v Pats is on "Save Until I delete..." status on my TiVo baby...
