WHo do you think will win this match up

i think Oscar will win, because even though Manny is a really hard hitting fighter, Oscar De La Hoya is the bigger fighter and he has fought guys bigger than him like B Hop. Oscar has slugged with the heavy hitters so therefore i dont think Mannys Power will really be effective, but his speed will be if he still has some.

If the fight goes the distance i believe MAnny will win, but if theres a knock out it will bE oscar Taking Out Manny in the 6th

I love Manny, he is an awesome fighter but he seriously has come up from like 30 pounds freom his original weight, hes asking for too much.

I don't know. Both guys are making pretty big weight concessions to make the fight happen. DeLaHoya hasn't been this light in a long time and Pacqiauo has never carried this much weight ever. Both guys look good though. I just hope DeLaHoya isn't making the same mistake he made with Bernard Hopkins by going one weight class too far. I don't question DeLaHoya's heart, they'll have to carry both of those guys out of there, but I think Father Time has taken more from him than Pacqiauo. Manny wins a bloody split decision.

manny all the way, for one i am Filipino and yes that is a biased answer.

also Oscar will be off-balance not adjusting to his new weight, he won't have as much gauge of how much punishment he can take. Manny is a very punishing puncher.

I got De La Hoya. I'm Mexican American so this is also biased. Honestly though, he is just too big, I think for Paqiauo.

Im Mexican, so im rooting for Oscar. However I don't think he will win, Pacman is too good. I would not be shocked if De La Hoya won tho, no way he gets a knockout. Also its interesting that Pacman enters the night heavier than De La Hoya. I find that funny.

Pacquiao by KO, 9th round.

Well he got out just before the 9th... so I was close. It was a TKO though, not a KO.

De la Hoya was destroyed...

The odds was 4-1 for Oscar a weeks early (It went 2-1 just before the fight but it was still a good odd for The Golden Boy) and you got 75% of all the boxing experts predicting that Oscar is gonna stop Manny in the middle stages of the fight cause of the size difference but when the result was actually the opposite (Which was what Manny did to Oscar instead) then I would consider it as an uspet.

De La Hoya is already a Legend but this fight just showed that Manny is now Legendary.

Size matters, the size of the heart, and Manny showed his was bigger.

Congrats Manny.

This wasn't the biggest upset in history. It was domination by a better, smarter boxer. It maybe was an upset to all the so called experts, but at this point, Manny is in his prime and De La Hoya is in the twilight of his career. Now Pacman can choose whoever he wants to fight. My prediction: Pacquiao vs. Hatton in the Spring of 2009. Pacquiao W KO. After that: Pacquiao vs. "Money" Mayweather. ???

I never said it was the biggest upset in boxing history. :? I said one of the biggest upset but if I exaggerated then call it at least an upset in a small way. One thing was for sure though is that Manny Pacquiao from the beginning of the bell already sent a clear message to most people that the pre fight thoughts was far different from reality.

they said this was supposed to be mannys only fight in 147 and i am happy for that, because i am also filipino and im am not biased in boxing ill call whoever i think will win, i had a feeling manny would go the distance and whoop on oscar, but i did not see the stoppage coming haha, but if he stays at 147 hes bound to lose to

margarito

cotto and the other greats at 147

but he will dominate 140 i beleive, hatton will get knocked out, hattons style isnt good for manny

Maximum respect to both guys. Legitimate warriors. Pacqiauo has established himself as the must watch fighter in the sport and DeLaHoya has shown once again that even in defeat he has done nothing but seek out the best of the best in the name of competition.

Ohhh come on, is boxing. I'm just waiting for the hype and the PPV teasers lol. "Floyd Maywaether is a legend, but doesn't get the respect he deserves. Manny is rising star that have been in oscurity for too long. One legend, one star. The Battle. Live from Madison Square Garden, May 25th on PPV". lol

How is this an upset at all. Oscar hasnt won one big fight his whole career. The main factor in this fight was teh weight loss Oscar had to lose and it showed by how weak and slow he was on saturday. Dropping weight is suicide at his age and just look at how Roy Jones and Chris Byrd were both effected by dropping weight in their later years. Either way Manny was at top notch and wowed alot of people with his improved defense and foot work. Also Oscar said right at the end of the fight, Manny trained like a champion, while Oscar's mind is in different places and barely fights 2 times a year. Oscar is 35 with around 45 fight while Manny is 29 with around 55 fights and many more to go. Oscar's only chance in this fight was to one punch KO and nothing else. Oscar needs to decide, Retire or keep your head into boxing and start fighting and training like a champion. This by far was the worst performance by Oscar and he looked like a very average fighter in the ring with a true battle tested warrior.

Na, I think they will fight in Vegas - either Mandalay Bay or MGM Grand.
