With AP out with an injury Marshawn is clearly a great Rookie of the year. AP will be out 2 to 3 weeks and Marshawn is not only a great runner he's good on the pass and Blocking. Overall a better package. As for AP theres a reason he's been injury plaqued his Collage carrer, he tries to hard and those extra yards he struggles to get is always gonna get him hurt eventually. AP will never play 16 games in any season. Marshawn looks smarter and overall a better choice. AP trying to hard wich can lead to him getting hurt alot more(like fred Taylor and many other RB) AP needs to just fall down when 2 or more people are on him and stop trying to be Superman, or he's gonna be plaqued with injurys for as long as he plays.

Yeah I don't know if Marshawn will win it. I know it will come down to him, AP, and Dwayne Bowe.

I doubt Bowe winning it i had him on my Fantasy team and his numbers suck statistically and Lynch is a beast Fantasy wise. I don't see how Bowe can win without having any stats to compare to a lynch or AP. Lynch and AP may end the season with 1k rushing seasons except Lynch is a better blocker and catcher, and he's on hell of a work horse. Everyone knows AP is always injured and from the looks of it his fate will continue, because after they touch him instead of falling he trys to get 1 or 2 more yards and those 1 or 2 yards he trys so hard to get is where he usally gets injured. I know brad childers was like just fall already AP, doh he's injured.

Are you kidding me? I doubt you even have Bowe on your Fantasy team if you think his numbers "suck." Let's see: a rookie who's on pace for over 1000 yards and 5 TDs is "sucky?" You fail big time on this one.

Don't believe the Vikings. AP is out much longer. All the doctors are saying he should sit for 3-4 weeks. No way he comes back after 1 week.

He hasn't scored a TD or more than 10 fantasy points in 5 weeks (6 including the bye), but he's still a solid rookie.

Well, fantasy wise he's pretty good, but I was responding to his "his numbers suck statistically" which is not true at all.

a.p's got it in the bag, without that knee injury he'd probably set the rookie record.

I could make an argument that it is true. He scored a TD in his first 3 games, and hasn't scored one since. Some people might see that as very disappointing. I don't necessarily agree with that, just thought I'd make the point.

If AP doesn't play for the rest of the season, he lost it.

He probably should still get it even if he doesn't play the rest of the year.....but you could be right....he may not.

Agreed. And like said in another post. Clevelands OT Joe Thomas should be definately considered. 0 sacks allowed.

Marshawn out this week too, so this Rookie of the Year is still up-for-grabs.

Even if he is out for the rest of the season he still deserves it. A rookie getting the single game rushing record, very impressive.

I think it should be AD even if out for the rest of the season. He was in Randy Moss Rookie status before he was hurt.
