Congrats to Martin Brodeur for breaking Terry Sawchuk's record with his 104th career shutout. No one thought another goalie would even come close to touching Sawchuk's record for the longest time. With all of the changes to increase scoring after the lockout, I'll bet Brodeur's record will stand for a significant amount of time.

Penguins got beat. I'm surprised they couldn't get one goal.

Being an Avs fan, I hate seeing Brodeur break all these goalie records, but he's pretty dang good, doesn't seem to be slowing down as many people expected he would.

As a Devils fan, this is great. Not only to get the shutout, but to get it against a top team not some cellar dweller like the Canes or Leafs

Congrats to Brodeur, definitely one of the best goalies, if not the best of all time. Hope he keeps this play up, so he can help Canada win gold at the Olympics.

Congrats to Brodeur. Maybe the best goalie of all time, I didn't think that record would ever be broken. Brodeur's will stand for a long time.

Now, I hope he can continue his current play into the Olympics for us Canadians and win Gold.

No way, Marty has benefitted from playing for defensive oriented teams. Not that that takes away from his greatness, but how would he have been playing for a more offensive minded coach?

Thats why I think Patrick Roy would have to be considered the best ever. He was unbeatable in the playoffs and only had a great defense when he was with the Avalanche.
