congrats to the Phillies and their fans

7 of the playoff spots are now decided but there's still one playoff spot not decided, Padres or Rockies for the NL wild card

Padres are down 4-9 and Rockies (who are down by 1 game currently) are up 1-0

Yeah boy.

Philly all day!

(I'm from New York but hate NY teams)

Hopefully the Eagles and Sixers can continue the success and make the playoffs. Well, Eagles I have more expectations from, but Sixers I would be satisfied with a playoff spot.

By the way, anyone know where I can get an Eagles and Sixers tag?

I said it yesterday that the Phillies would eventually clinch the East. And I just feel bad for Glavine to see him end the season in such a negative way. Could be a Brave next season? :D

someone has to lose job of this mess. They had a team tailored for the playoffs. 2nd largest payroll not to make the playoffs.

I wouldn't mind having him back since he would be an upgrade over any of our starters not named Hudson or Smoltz.

I think they had the highest payroll, but I could be wrong...

Highest Payroll not to make the playoffs was the Red Sox last year.

Not me. I would love to see World Series 2000 all over again. Mets Vs. Yankees, that's a classic right there. To me, christmas is beating the Red Sox in ALCS.

I have waited 14 years for this, ever since that bastard Joe Carter ruined everything. It's great to finally be back, and Jimmy should win the MVP.

Yeah, Holliday has amazing numbers too though, especially if he helps the Rockies to the playoffs tonight. Still, I think he should win.
