Not necessarily. Memphis was in last place and tried to get a good draft number last year. Didn't happen.

There's a good chance of them getting a top five pick. They can get a big man to match with Wade and Marion. Their future is pretty good.

It depends what pick they have. If the Heat are going to change their style into more of a run'n'gun offense like the Suns and Warriors then I think they should draft Derrick Rose if they have the chance. Having Rose push the ball up the court with his blazing speed with Wade on one side of the court and Marion on the other. Could be scary.... With their 2nd round pick I would look to get Joey Dorsey if he's available because they need another big and he's projected to be an early 2nd rounder. He reminds me of a younger more athletic Ben Wallace. He does all the dirty work - rebounds, blocks shots, etc. Two Memphis Tigers with their 1st and 2nd Rounders! lol.

I think Dwayne Wade needs to hang it up for the season and really get healthy, because where is the team going this year? I think he came back too early and hindered his recovery. He still isn't 100%. He lost a lot of his explosiveness.

They need to have a good draft and keep Wade healthy this year, most assuredly with cutting his court time. They could look to get Rose or Gordon in the draft, and build solid in the later rounds.

Wades a star, and the NBA wont let him be on the worst team for much longer. The heat will get either Beasly or Rose. Memphis and Boston got roped last year because they openly tanked games.

They should go after a big man or a legitimate point guard.

They have a good future with Marion and Wade but they need to draft wisely
