michael turner has 1208yards and a league leading 13 rushing touchdowns through 12 games. ppl talk about clinton portis being MVP but he is only 20 yards ahead of michael turner with 1228 yards and doesnt have as many tochdowns. also right now the falcons are in position for a playoff birth and the skins are not. Michael turner is making life in the NFL easier on a rookie QB

And while im at it if the falcons win out why doesnt matt ryan deserve MVP? Thank you.

lol what do these people have anythingg to do with the MVP.. The only person on there that top 5 in voting might be Eli..

Top 5 for NFC

Brees, Warner, Portis, Eli then maybe turner.

I dunno if I'd pick Turner. There isn't really a clear cut leader for the award this year like last year with Brady... I think it may come down to what happens in the next four weeks.

Romo's team plays better with him and not without. Without AP - the Vikings would be fighting with Det for that 0 for 16 record. And with Favre, the Jets have already doubled last years totals, and T. Jones is running better with him at QB.

For someone to win MVP in my eyes, you have to make the playoffs, be the best or most important player on the team who makes the most difference, and be better than anyone at your position that year. My pick right now would be Kurt Warner because the Cardinals look like they are going to the playoffs, Leinart would not have done this good for them, and his stats are up in the top 10 or top 5 of almost all the important QB statistics.

Eagles would be 0-16 w/o McNabb but im not saying he should get an MVP consideration. Every team has those important players they need to win games but should not be considered mvps unless there team is actually doing good and make it to the playoffs

i dont know if he should get the mvp but he should be in the runing for it plus he is the reason why matt ryan shoudlnt get RoY. he is the falcons offense plus there isnt as much pressure on ryan to do well. while players like matt forte have no one on their team offensively- Hester is Overrated.

your so wrong dude matt ryan does more then forte could ever dream of doing. matt ryan is number one in the NFL in converting 3rd down and long, more then 7 yards passing. he's on pace for 17 touchdowns and over 3000 yards passing as a rookie. matt forte isnt even the best rookie rb in the nfl. chris johnson is twice as good. matt ryan plays in a tougher division the forte too. matt ryan is 3-0 agianst the nfc north if he was in that division he would be MVP

even if he sint the best rookie rb he has done more for that offense than ryan has done, michael turner is the reason the falcons are actually pretty good this year

you are so stupid the bears suck matt forte has had nice gamea agianst weak opponents. but the falcons are 8-0 when matt ryan has a qb rating over 90 he is the reason the falcons win . come back and talk to me when u know what your talking about.

Falcons are 7-0 when Turner runs for over 90 yards. Tough to say who's more important.

Chris Johnson this, Chris Johnson that... He is not great, and not not twice as good as Forte.. Slaton would be the back i would take hands down..

good point i dont think either are more important then the other what it tells me is the falcons have a balanced offense and they are both important. but to say forte desrves rookie of the year honors over matt ryan is crazy.
