It isnt his fault? He is supposed to be a mature man but yet manipulated in believing in something wrong.

So what if I was brought up with nothing but hatred and I killed a few people can I just say Its not my fault I dont know better even though I went to a high costing college in Virginia Tech? Sounds like I'm talking about the recent shooting from Cho but It was not intended.

I've never been a Vick fan. Nothing against him, I'm just not a fan. That being said, he doesn't need supporters or detractors, he needs his day in court and he'll get it. It would be nice if everyone would leave him alone until then, which of course won't happen.

If he's found guilty, which looks like it will be the case, he can serve his punishment. I'm a cynic though, so I'll point to the 100's of celebrities before him who have gotten off of much more serious charges than dog fighting. At most, he'll get a fine, I think.

I used to support/defend him. Not anymore. I am not a pet owner but I don't think I can sit around for hours at a time watching two animals kill each other. That's what wild animals in the jungle can do.

He should have focused on improving his game on footballthan on dog fighting. LaDanian Tomlinson, a RB, has a better QB rating than he does, and that is sad! It annoys me when athletes/celebrities who make all of this money, who are skilled at their profession, just do stupid things to jepoardize their careers. I'm not saying athletes should be modeled citizens but at least do something much more productive or fun with your time.

That's because many pitbulls are raised to attack. A pitbull can be a perfectly friendly and playful dog. It just needs to be raised right. People blame dogs far too often for attacks when it's the owners that should be blamed, or even the one who was attacked. I can't blame a dog for biting a kid that keeps pulling on its tail.

Anyways, I respected Vick as an athlete before this. No I have zero respect for him. When he gets back to football, he will be taking over TO as the player I would most like to see suffer a career ending injury.

I agree about the punishment; a fine, probably not even the max, and MAYBE some community service. i think he'll be back in football before long

Michael Vick is a talented player but he is so flawed and then when i found out about his killing Dog movement i was like nah not anymore so i tore down my posters of him. Theres a thing kids look for these days in heroes and if we have heroes killing dogs and butchering um,then what the hell are we teaching are kids? Kids will always idolize and want to be like celebrities. Who are we to tell them who they should idolize or not? These atheletes/celebrities are always on television, attracting a mob of people who want to interact with him/her. How can you tell a youngster, "Don't pay any attention to him/her?" They are going to want to know why so many people flock to them. What makes them so special. Anyone who is on television will be considered cool to any youngster.

No joke! And pitbulls aren't raised to be deadly! You could raise a chihuaha to be deadly man! I have seen plenty of pitbulls that were very well tempered dogs! I have rottewielers and they are some of the nicest dogs around! It just depends on how they are treated!
