is this the end of him tonight this very moment in Detroit? 6 runs through 3 innings. Rumors are swirling Ian Kennedy may be called up to replace him.

Ian Kennedy's stats this year in the minor league system:

Games Started: 25

Complete Games: 1

Record: 12-3

ERA: 1.91

Strikeouts: 163

Walks: 50

Its not looking good for Moose's career

He's at the end of his career, he might have a year or two left in him if he goes to the NL.

Moose is really sucking this season. Knowing the Yanks he will probably be released.

I've been asking for this call up for the last couple of weeks. Bring up Kennedy and put Moose in the bullpen. One of the problems with Moose is that he has lost the velocity on his fastball. If he comes out of the bullpen every other day to pitch an inning or two he can really throw harder and not try to conserve his arm for seven innings like he usually does. I really hope they call up Kennedy, he has been lights out so far this year. Another really good young pitcher for the yanks.

It's sad he has to end his career this way, that's if he decides to hang it up after this season...

Torre said they have no plans of bringing up Kennedy, even when rosters expand, but they do plan on bringing Igawa back up. YIIPPEEE. Whoever's running things is overanalyzing this season into the dumpster. I'd pitch Joba whenever it was neccessary like any other team would. And send the Moose packing.

The yanks will probably stick with him for the rest of the year. Though he may very well finish it in the bullpen...

The Yankees did just that, brought kennedy up, Mussina is out of the rotation, for now. Kennedy will start against the Devil Rays in his ML debut. Torre stated that he is not planning on using Mussina out of the Bullpen. Its a shame though, Mussina is hitting a rough spot in his strong carrer. One of the few players with 100 wins for 2 different teams. I think he should pitched against the Rays, i mean, their the worst team in the league, and if he sucks against them, then yeah he should be pulled, give him another chance

Well, they really don't have much of an option with Mussina the way he has been pitching. They are doing well with Pettitte and Wang, and sometimes with Clemens, but they need another pitcher to step up.
