MLB 2K12 Question

Hey, duders.

So I haven't really kept up with any of the new baseball games as of late, but I've been getting an itch to play one. I've read up on MLB 2K12 and it seems to be getting a pretty mixed reaction from people. So here is where you guys can help me out. If I haven't been playing the 2K baseball games will MLB 2K12 be a good place? Or is most of its negative reaction coming from its lack of change over the years, something that I won't really notice when playing. I know that MLB The Show is probably the best baseball series out there right now, but I don't own a PS3.

MLB 12: The Show is the better game for sure, but if you don't have a PS3 (which I saw you mentioned), then MLB 2K12 is a fine place to start. Last years game had some really bad issues that were supposedly fixed for the most part. The graphics aren't that great, but the gameplay is fixed enough that you can overlook that IMHO. I'd pick it up if I didn't have a PS3.
