MLB 2K8/MLB: The Show 08 - What is the team of choice for you?

Who's your team? Will you use them, or are they so terrible that you will cheat stack, or use another for gulity pleasure?

I will stick with my LA Dodgers but trade for my main man Bad "motha-flippin" Vlad from Anaheim Angels. He's all i need for total domination.

I have 3 4-packs to 3 red/sox yankees games this july 3 and august 26 & 27 in the bronx and I cant wait, Yankees/Angels in the Bronx also in August.....and I have front row 3rd base seats behind the dugout at tropicana field for yankees/rays in May. A fantastic year.

Probably sell off one of the sox yanks 4 packs though

Dude i'm sticking with the Dodgers too, but i'm gonna load up on pitching because of the in-game pitching analysis in MLB: The Show 08. Gonna kill it this season

True fans use their team in games as well, no matter how bad they are. I'm sure that's lost on some of you guys that just pick random teams, though. The worst is when someone roots for a team in real life b/c they used them on a video game. That seems to have happened a lot with Vick and the Falcons a few years back.

I play with my Dodgers. As for trades, I keep my roster just like the big boys. The only trade I make is for one of my high school buddies that now pitches for the Phillies. He's not rated very high, so it doesn't make much of a difference, but I like to have him on my team.

You should create your friend and use him in the road to the show so you play with him throughout his career all the way to the HOF. haha, I bet your friend would be stoked

Going with the Dodgers for my first season in the 'The Show' . I'm freaking loosing my mind waiting for next week. Does anybody know if you can create players that are switch hitters?

Well yeah but even before the Angels won in 02 i've been more of a fan of them over the Dodgers.

Basically you play through entire seasons with one player and you only play in the plays he's involved with. So the seasons go a lot quicker. In 08, your coaches will give you all sorts of goals to achieve or actions they want you to take while you are playing. It's really fun playing as minor league players trying to get in the bigs. And for me, it's especially fun playing pitchers in that mode.
