AL East:

  • New York Yankees: Gettting some unexpected help from Bartolo Colon, also, how about some blipping retribution from our pitchers?
  • Boston Red Sox: Playing great, I laugh at all those giving them a hard time for their start, where are you now?
  • Tampa Bay Rays: Like I said, their front office is awesome, low buy on Manny and Damon, didn't work out so they cut loose and continue.
  • Baltimore Orieles: LOL, some people here being excited about their start: LOL.
  • Toronto Blue Jay: Bautista continues to put impressive, but meaningless stats.

AL Central:

  • Cleveland Indians: LOL, too bad I couldn't get here sooner, knew this guys would fall flat.
  • Detroit Tigers: V-Mart has been golden(I know, I have him on my FT). Verlander and Scherzer kicking butt.
  • Kansas City: Young prospect looking good.
  • Chicago White Sox: Not out yet.
  • Minnesota Twins: This might the year it's all fall apart.

AL West:

  • Texas Rangers: Looking really good, so many weapons on offense.
  • Oakland Athletics: Can't win games 0-0.
  • Seattle Mariners: See Oakland.
  • Los Angeles Angels: Weaver and Haren looking good but it seems Scioscia wants to burn their arms.

It took him a while to recover from getting his NBA threads locked and stolen.

it's not like you do in-depth original topics that require an excessive amount of effort and time to create... you copy and paste from ESPN, and say "Discuss"

That is for news discussion, this has a specific question. It's has always been like that, you just don't pay attention.

I pay attention, but none of your topics regard an excess amount of research... Whatever, I'm a Redsox homer, so I'm going with the Redsox. Good pitching, great hitting.

Does it really matter 1/3 into the season? We will only get the same thread next month anyway, and again at the All-star break...........for both leagues, what next division by division? The Phils and Red Sox are now turning it on and should meet in October barring some Cinderella.

In no other field of entertainment is it acceptable to like one person/team. And I stick with my team win, lose or draw. You can't say the same, instead choosing to troll every team, and flood the front page with pointless topics.

Meaning less stats? Alright then...I guess the stats being put up by Votto or Kemp are meaningless too. If Jose wins MVP, I'll just LOL.

Anyways, best team right now is the Red Sox. No surprise really. They got the second best record in baseball , so ya.

Yankees pitching staff is falling apart, and their bullpen took a big hit too with Chamberlin and Soriano out for the year. Colon out a while. Hughes no where near a return. They'll probably win WC though.

Going to come down to Texas and Boston. Texas has better pitching to me right now...Boston has the better offense and is rolling.

I think we had this discussion last year. Its not about the MVP is about winning, and you agreed, if I remember correctly, that winning and getting to the playoffs was more important than winning the MVP. Yeah, the winning the MVP is meaningless in the great scheme of things. Never said anything about the possibilities of Jose getting the MVP on a less than remarkable team, just like A-Rod in the Texas and countless others.

I still agree about winning, but his stats aren't meaningless if it nets him awards IMO. An individuals stats, no matter how a team is doing because it IS a team game and just because the team is doing bad and he's doing well, what he's doing shouldn't be thought of any less. I though guys like Hernandez last year was great, or Cahill or Kemp this year. Pujols missed the playoffs last year for an average team, and Wainwright was awesome, that makes his stats meaningless? I just think differently. If he does well AND makes the playoffs, cool. But it's a team game, and what the other 24 guys should take anything away from his stats. Actually, his stats look worse than what they are because he doesn't have guys on base, or is surrounded by superstars like NY and Boston, and played with 4 different guys hitting 4 and 5 while Lind was out. Oh well, I see where you're coming from. But I just think differently.
