I'm pulling for Mark Martin and Bill Elliott to do well. Mark has never won Daytona so that'd be a great way for him to really cement his legacy as one of the all time greats. I wouldn't mind seeing Tony win either.
Not big on NASCAR, but I'd be content with anyone except Tony Stewart.AlexSays
I definitely don't want Tony to win. I'm rootin' for Jeff Gordon. I think his winless year last season will be enough motivation for a quite a few wins this year.

NASCAR's biggest race should never be shortened by rain, period. It's bad for the sport, and especially bad for the fans who spent a bunch of money on tickets and the trip to Daytona. It's also frustrating to see someone like Matt Kenseth win after leading one lap as a result of pit strategy rather than having someone like Jeff Gordon or Tony Stewart win because they had good cars. The other thing is they were only in the rain delay for about 20 minutes and it wasn't raining very hard, and they called the race at 6:30. Daytona has lights. They could've waited for two hours plus to restart that race and end up finishing around 11pm. I'm a Gordon fan, and I knew he could win. I am extremely pissed off they didn't finish this race.
I wish it wasn't shortened by rain but whatever. Kenseth won and even as a jeff gordon fan....I don't mind kenseth. He was the only roush driver i ever liked besides Carl Edwards and Jeff Burton(when he was roush)... extremely underrated. That said had Dale Jr. Not clipped vickers(he has been driving long enough to have known there was no way he was going to just blend in and not clip him) and Vickers didn't throw that block(there were so many laps left, and you are going to throw a block? for something that isn't a win?) and caused that wreck Kyle Bush was going to win. His car was awesome, no one could make a run on him.

Pretty pathetic. your comment was a silly little remark to begin with :| Baseball is extremely slow Golf is a rather quite sport just cause you don't like what the "sport" is doesn't mean you take pot shots at it. The fact that you went into a Nascar thread to talk about how it bores you is probably more pathetic.
kenseth is by far my favorite driver and he deserved to win because he did well all race and avoided a massive crash by inches and got himself into position when it was suppose to rain. With all this said i still would have rather seen the race go to the end whether he won or lost. Nascar needs to do something about their rules. If i went to see a race and it got rained out and nascar said o race is over i would lose it.
