i think game one will be a little rusty for both teams cause of the long breaks they had but will be fine later on after they feel for each other, can't wait to see the outcome of the game especially Bowen Vs LeBron match-up...

Some people are just jealous of the Spurs' success. That they win the RIGHT way, with DEFENSE! They aren't "flashy," so a lot of people aren't intersted in the team.
Also, if the Spurs are "boring" and "predictable," it's because they are RELIABLE!
DEFENSE WINS CHAMPIONSHIPS! Not flashy teams with mega super-stars!

So Jordan, Shaq, Kobe, Magic and Wade didn't win championships?
You know what I mean. It's not a one man show. :|

Not to refute your point but Shaq and Kobe teammates, Shaq and Wade teammates hmmmI'll be the first to say this(maybe not):
If the Spurs don't win game 2, they won't win the Finals. Based on tonight and how close this game was, they can't split their first two home games.

You've got to be kidding me. The Spurs can win anyway you can imagine. The series could go to a game 7 and the home team usually wins.
When will you guys learn. Did not the Jazz and Suns have 20 point wins against the Spurs and yet still lost. The Spurs can win 3 straight in Cleveland.
ok this past game just prooved why cavs can win the series.. it was a very close game without Lebron doing anything... just think when Lebron has a good game, what the scoreboard will look like at the end of the game.
Lebron and Gibson all the way!

Lebron tried to have a good game but was shut down.

You're rude. What's wrong with Texas!? Maybe you're just jealous!

Hahahahahahahahahahahaha... Well, the Spurs have the #1 defense in the NBA.
Well as bad as the Cavs played they only lost by 9 which could be somewhat of a good sign. Now that they got their "Finals Jitters" out of the way in Game 1, hopefully they come back much stonger in Game 2. Their rookie Gibson continues to have the hot hand. Lebron started heating up in the 4th but it was too little too late.
Just so you know, I hardly follow the NBA, so don't be surprised if I say something "stupid."
For the Cavs, they rise or fall on LeBron alone. He's the only way they can get a ring. Judging from what little I saw of Game 1, they could fall. I predict Spurs in 5 or 6.
i hate cavs for the same reason i hate lakers, they're a one man team
counting on LaBron to do everything is stupid...
spurs has 3 players they count on although they hold duncan as their star, ginobli and parker are no joke
i call 4 or 5 cavs will probably lose spirit
unless something happens in game 3
if cavs somehow manage a woppin in game 3 it will probably go up to 6 or 7 but i doubt cav will get far, Spurs ftw

i think in 5 games Cavs have no answer for TP with his quickness almost at will in the paint...
If Cavs will lose in game 3.. They'll don't have the chance anymore, as we know its hard to come back on a 3-0 series. Unless they have the 'heart' to be the champion.
Goodluck cavs. lol
This series is pretty rough. Lots of ugly basketball, late games, rarely competitive. It's over for all intents and purposes, Tony Parker has been excellent, Duncan has been dominating, the SA role players have all done their jobs on both ends of the court and the Spurs deserve their title.
LeBron's biggest fault in this series is he tries to be the point guard and table setter even though his team desperately needs him to be a relentless scorer. Of course it's a catch 22 because so much of their playbook has him as the primary ballhandler, meaning if he wants a good shot he has to create one himself nearly everytime, resulting in little to no ball movement and tougher defense from the Spurs.
It's frustrating to watch LeBron give up good to decent looks just because he sees a pass that could be made. His unselfishness is hurting his game and his team. I don't think it's a fear of the moment, it's just his instinct to pass to the open man despite having teammates that simply cannot get the job done against a much better Spurs sqad. For all the knocks on Kobe's shot selection, he understands there are times when the open pass does not automatically equal a higher percentage shot, especially against a team like San Antonio and alongisde offensively challenged teammates.
As for coaching, Mike Brown is getting embarrassed out there. Aside from nice defensive effort overall from the Cavs (especially in Game 3) I'm completely unimpressed with his ability to respond to matchups, instill confidence in his team and create any semblance of a structured offense that compliments his players. The Cavs offense is just awful for a finals team - bad decision making, bad playcalling. Meanwhile Pops keeps on adding to his resume, he's one of the best in the game undoubtedly.
I would love to see what Bron could do if you surrounded him with great players ala Magic (Worthy, Kareem, Cooper, etc.). The Cavs need to either add a quality PG that can set up Bron & co. in their spots or commit to Bron as PG and adjust the roster accordingly. No matter what they must bring in better complimentary talent and an experienced coach. I'm not convinced the Cavs front office has the chips or the savvy to accomplish either scenario.
