nba season is so longgggg

were a couple of weeks from the start of the season. i like basketball and watch almost all laker games but the nba season is a joke. u realize the season wont be over till mid JUNE. 16 playoff teams,really, enough with sub 500 teams making the playoffs.

if anything nba playoffs feels like it drags on forever

My only complaint is that the first round needs to go back to the way it was. Best of 5. It makes the playoffs a lot shorter.-Halftime-

Could be worse, NBA games could be played outdoors. :) Look at baseball. You start playing in decent weather, then start the playoffs duing cold months. :) This MLB season dragged and is still dragging...

I like how long the seaon is. Its the only sport I watch and I love being able to watch all the games.

i do think the nba season a little to long...i think its beacuse of the playoffs thats why it seem long

Well, don't sweat it. A league in which more than half the teams get into the playoffs and has the poorest posible quality in their refereeing is like you said, a joke.

Nah it's not too bad. Compare it to baseball and that seems like an eternity.

wow to me the season doesnt last that long, i love it. And with about 6 or 7 quality teams that can get to the finals im super stoked for this season. the playoffs are going to be awesome espesically out in the west........................ Go Lakers

Problem is that they cant play more games per week with an 82 game schedule due to fatigue. This isnt baseball folks, they dont have relief PG's so the 12 man roster would be dead from exhaustion. Also good luck getting teams to agree to willingly lose million upon millions of dollars due to less tickets to sell. 5 game 1st round was excellent, but money talks, and those extra games generate alot of revenue. I personally dont mind the 82 game schedule, but i do see where people view it as being boring, and too long, espesially if your team blows, which is the majority of the NBA.

NBA's playoff system is not good, but we've to face it because we're the great lover of it and we can't avoid it.larrylawton

Yeah, the NBA season is very long.

Im glad the NBA season and playoffs are long. I love watching basketball. This past offseason has been going by soo slowly. I fealt like I haven't watched basketball in ages. I will never complain about too much NBA! Thank god the new season is about to start.

Its perfect how it is, if you really loved basketball I don't think there is a reason to complain about how much basketball there is.

I only pay attention to NBA during the playoffs. It helps make it not feel as long I guess.

Strange thing to complain about. I can't say I have ever wished a season was shorter for any sport I like. If anything, the off-season is too long for me.

the season should be 65 games then the playoffs could start earlier?
