NFL becoming a joke?

Anyone else think the NFL is becoming a joke?

Its really becoming a panzy contest at this point its almost seems like they decided " Hey the refs are getting bored lets throw in a crapload of new penalties...Hey wide receivers are complaining that they can't compete with physical defenders lets make it so they can't touch them after 5 yards.....Hey instead of calling a catch a catch lets make it so that its only a catch if the ball isn't wobbling....Better yet letsmake our holding calls VERY ticky tack so that even a minor grab results in a penalty

combine all of this with the udderly lack luster group of teams this year...and well we get ourselves a crapfeast...its no wonder one team is managing to rape the whole league

Most of the penalities you mentioned have been around forever. I'm not trying to offend but I do wonder how New orleans was a crap team 2 years ago, hurricane comes a year later and their suddenly a great team, and this year that back to being bad.

Ravens fan? C'mon, the NFL is doing a fine job in refereeing and the league is fine. Throughout the NFL's history, there have always been bad teams and there have always been good teams. This year is no different.

I hate alot of the penalties in the NFL. And its getting worse every year. I do not like Roger Goodell. I especially hate penalties and fines for hits. Ruining my favorite part of the sport.twopic58

Honestly, I hvan't noticed that at all this year...

American football is a complex game with a lot of rules. I think the refs have done a pretty good job this year so far.

They put on the helmets and pads to play the game. They wouldn't do it if other players could legally do something that's been proven to break legs consistently and cause concussions consisntently. It's football, but those plays simply cause injuries, often serious, too much.
