Last Week-2-2
Cardinals @ Saints-Saints have just been playing bad down the stretch, resting starters, and I don't see them coming into this game with a lot of momentum. The Cards. on the other hand, are coming off a big win in Green Bay where they stopped the Packers' rushing attack and forced them to beat them through the air. I think they can do the same thing to New Orleans and make them into the Titans of last year. Cardinals 40-31
Ravens @ Colts-I've been down on teams who rest. and even though the Colts are better than most other teams who rest I think it still comes back to bite them here. Early in the year they suffered against teams who could pound the ball like Jacksonville, and I think that team re-appears. They won't have as big a day rushing as they had against New England, but the rushing attack helps open up th passing attack and a balanced offense upsets the Colts. Ravens 30-23
Cowboys @ Vikings-I guess it's the week of the giants falling for my picks. Again, I'm not impressed with the way Minnesota finished the season. They got passed all over, and Austin and Romo are definitely capable of torching that secondary. They won't have too much success running up the middle, but the Cowboys will find ways to get it to their backs in the open field. AP may have a bit of a resurgence, but the Brett Favre we haev come to know the past handful of season in the playoffs makes a return under that heavy pass rush. Cowboys 30-20
Jets @ Chargers-I'm very tempted to call an upset here. The Jets are good at all the right positions to beat San Diego. However, Phillip Rivers can spread the ball around and I don't think he'll be forced to challenge Revis the way Carson Palmer was. THe big question is can the Chargers' D hold up against the run, and I say it can. Chargers 31-24
