Last week-11-5
Overall-31-17
Buccaneers @ Redskins-Bucs have been scoring close to twenty points a game, Skins have been giving up close to twenty points a game. Cadillac's going to have a big game against a Washington D that's giving up over 100 yards rushing per game. Tamp'as weak against the pass, though, and I expect a high-scoring game because of weak defenses. I'm not sure if this is technically an upset, but it's the closest thing I've got to one this week. Bucs 21-17
Ravens @ Patriots-VERY high-scoring game. The third and fifth passing offenses, the seventeenth and sixth passing defenses. Ravens have the edge in rushing, both teams are scoring 20+ points a game with Baltimore having the edge. I'm going to have to go against my gut and take the ravens in a close one. Ravens 30-27 GOTW
Lions @ Bears-It was a nice little vacation for the Lions, wasn't it? The Bears are better than the Redskins. Another underachieving win for the Bears, but they pull it off. Bears 20-13
Titans @ Jaguars-Man, if the Titans don't pull this one off they've got problems. I just can't imagine Garrard having a better day than Collins, though, and MJD should be slowed by a spectacular run D. Jags aren't exaclty slouches in that category, but Johnson should tear them up. Titans 24-16
Raiders @ Texans-I'm done picking the Raiders, it keeps coming back and biting me in the ass. The Texans aren't exactly living up to expectations, butthere's no waythat Raiders offense can hold Schaub and Johnson. Texans 35-7
Bengals @ Browns-Two 0-16 teams in two years? It could happen. This one won't even be close. In fact, I'd rather be 0-16 than go as long as the Browns have without a touchdown on offense. Look for Palmer's first big game of the season here. Bengals 30-6
Seahawks @ Colts-Hard to predict the score if I don't know if Hasselbeck is playing, but not hard to predict the outcome. Peyton Manning's just too good, and a defense that can't stop Jay Cutler through the air won't stop Manning, no matter what the numbers say. Look for it to resemble the Chicago game, though. Colts 20-16
Giants @ Chiefs-It's Bob Euker week in the NFL, there's a surplus of laffers. My only dillema here is by how many points do I pick the Giants, and dare I predict a shutout? What the hell, I'll go for it. Giants 41-0
Bills @ Dolphins-Two very evenly matched teams. The difference here, Buffalo's run D doesn't match up to Miami's run O. I'll take Miami in my sleeper of the week. Dolphins 33-27
Jets @ Saints-The stats say pick the Jets, but my gut says pick the Saints. Very high-scoring, but I think the Saints have a better turnover ratio this game. Saints 31-27
Rams @ 49ers-After a big loss it's nice to have a bounceback game, and that's exactly what this will be. Rams won't be able to stop them, and won't stand a chance against that Niners' D. 49ers 24-3
Cowboys @ Broncos-I have not had any luck at all picking against Denver, but my luck is about to change. Josh McDaniels, meet your first big challenge. Close game, but Dallas comes out on top. Cowboys 31-24
Chargers @ Steelers-Polamalu's out, Pittsburgh's D is in trouble. Running is going to be unimportant in this one, the passing game will be what matters. Rivers outplays Big Ben in a close one. Chargers 24-20
Packers @ Vikings-Green Bay Packers are twenty-third against the run, that does not bode well against Adrian Peterson. I don't care how well Aaron Rodgers plays, unless Favre completely reverts to the form he had at the end of last season the Packers don't stand a chance. Vikings 34-17
