hey guys, i posted this in the ps3 forum, but no1 really helped so this is probably the best place to ask for help on nhl. ok on nhl 08 i dont really get the skill stick, do u have to hold down L1 and then use the right analog stick or what? someone please explain and sorry for the hassle.
Nope, you just have to move the right stick left and right to deke. Flick it up to shoot, move it back and then up quickly to take a slapshot, rotate from either left or right (depending on what hand you shoot with) to up to take a wrister. Holding L1 and moving the left and right stick in a direction will allow you to do a 1-on-1 deke move. Watch the skillstick video on the main menu screen to get a better idea.
