That's exactly what makes me suspicious of the circumstances, that and Kane plead not guilty. Combine that with the lack of solid information and I'm not believing anything until I actually see some solid information.

In the video on the right there's a short segment of the driver himself saying what took place. If all of the information we've heard turns out to be true, Patrick Kane truly is an idiot. I'm wondering if EA will change the cover.

Whether the person who was assaulted and his lawyer thinks the situation was blown way out of proportion doesn't matter. It's how the prosecutor sees the incident and whether it meets the criteria for the charges leveled on Kane. It seems they do or they wouldn't have charged him with those charges. It's a good thing for Patrick Kane that Roger Goodell isn't the commissioner of the NHL. He'd be suspended indefinitely while waiting for the resolution of his case and even then he'd still be waiting to see if additional punishment added.

I think every sports organization should just hire Goodell as it's commissioner.

To me this just sounds like the cabbie saw an opportunity to get some money...he recognized who Kane was, and figured he could get Kane to settle out of court and walk away with a lot more than $13.JML897

Oh yeah, Kane's a folk hero in the area now so that wouldn't surprise me.

Although I think he's innocent I thought this was funny from the Canucks board.
