NHL 2008/2009 Season is just about underway.

It's finally hockey season again hockey fans! The long summer wait is almost over, unless you're a Rangers/Lightning/Penguins/Senators fan lol. So what do you think about your team this season, and what do you expect out of them this year?

I can't wait until they drop the puck tonight at the Shark Tank. I'm cautiously optimistic about this team again lol. I really like the change behind the bench and I like what I've heard from Todd McLellan so far. I like the changes we made on the blue line, but I wish we still had Craig Rivet. Rob Blake is going to need a damn good season to earn his contract in my eyes lol. As every Sharks fan has for the past few years, I hope that we can finally get over the hump and go all the way this year, but who knows if we will lol. What kind of stinks is that Sharks fans have to wait until the post season to see what the team can actually do lol. We could get the President's Trophy, and it wouldn't mean a thing if we didn't win The Stanley Cup lol. Here's hoping though.

My Rangers dominated their first two games against the Lightning. Though I think our first real test will be on the tenth against Chicago. On the eleventh we verse Phili that should be another good game. DA_B0MB

Sarah Palin will be dropping the puck in that Philly game lol.

Yeah, it's pretty bad lol. The green M "tattooed" on its forehead just summarizes how bad it is lol. I actually think the cartoon version isn't that bad though.

I'm not going to get too excited for the Sharks until they actually get it done in the playoffs. Maybe with Ron Wilson gone they'll do better, but I'm not getting my hopes up.Renegade_Fury

I really liked what I saw at the game yesterday. The d-men moved the puck better and took way more shots. The power play actually MOVES now, which is awesome lol. I was surprised we were much more physical than the Ducks lol.

I missed the game, but I did see the ESPN recap. Yeah, it did look like they dominated the Ducks, which is a little surprising. Still, I rather not get my hopes up too much and have my heart broken again in April. I'll be pleasantly surprised if I turn out to be wrong though. :D

I'd probably throw up if I ever see Sid raising the cup. Ovechkin deserves to raise the cup more than anyone, he's such a better player. Crosby gets all the attention though because his team is good and he's their pretty boy captain. And if you ask me, Malkin deserves more respect on that team, but that's just me.
