We posted the same thing, I was a minute faster lolJaysonguyI was thinking the same thing. Curse you Jaysonguy!
FYI, they won't be the Supersonics. As part of the settlement, the NBA has agreed to leave the name and history in Seattle. At least they had the decency to do that...benjaminjoelHuh, didn't realize that.
the moving vans will be there as early as tomorrow for them to leave:cry:-OpaK-I feel bad for a true fan like you. At least I got to see one more game.
you guys are definitely taking it better than the losers on other sports sites. All they have to say about us oklahomans/oklahoma is all negative. TarnishedSoulWhy get mad at Oklahoma? They did nothing wrong. It's that jackass Clay Benett we hate.

yea its not the Oklahomans' fault, but at the same time you cant help but hope that their team fails and loses support once the honeymoon ends:x
weird how I'm now calling the team I grew up watching, "their team":(

"Bennett said at a news conference in Oklahoma City that the original team banners and 1979 championship trophy will stay in Seattle, but "we will create duplicate banners and championship trophy that we believe will be assets we want to have."
yea, how decent of him:roll:

Not to mention...Oklahoma City...Supersonic...is anybody on here old enough to get why that's a TERRIBLE combination?
They should've moved the team to Vancouver, Canada.
1.) We're 2 hours from Seattle.
2.) We have new facilities.
3.) We used to own the Grizzlies.
4.) The owners of the Canucks (who are local Vancouver businessmen) wanted to buy the Sonics to keep all ownership local.
It's a shame that the owner of the Sonics... a genuine_______ would first of all, do this to Seattle, and then move the team to his hometown.
Ridiculous.
